Addy Brown- The burger girl herself, to no surprise is on everyone’s first team! With her size and skill set, you cannot do much with her. As an elite player, she’s the most unselfish player you’ll find. She is headed to Iowa state for good reason, her ability to step out and shoot the three-pointer, put the ball on the floor to make plays for her teammates, or just get stops on the defensive end, Brown can do it all.
Jaliyah Davis- Davis the center causes a lot of problems with her 6’2″ frame in the paint. She’s hard to score over and even more difficult to contain when she has the ball around the rim. When bigs can run the floor and impact both ends of it, they come with long nights and that’s exactly what you can expect with Jaliyah.
Brooklyn DeLaye- If you love basketball you know this name, 6’2″ with excellent wing span, the dual sport athlete recently committed to the university of Kentucky for volleyball; made sure she finished her time in Kansas with a bang. You can ask around or hear the commentators talk about and they’ll say “What can’t she do?” after she hits a 3-point. Her form is pure like a shooter and she’s not afraid to score on the whole team in the paint.
S’Mya Nichols S’Mya Nichols 6'0" | SF Shawnee Mission West | 2023 State #16 Nation – What you have to love about Nichols is the swagger she plays with. She’s someone that wants to defend on one end and is looking to score in transition with her beautiful euro step at the other end. When she’s in the half-court set she uses her elite footwork to score on three defenders! With my own 2 eyes, I have seen her pivot and step through to get a layup against what looked like great defense.
Camryn Smith Camryn Smith 5'8" | CG Shawnee Mission South | 2024 State – Smith is your complete guard. When you talk about elite players you have to put her in the conversation. She can press a team by herself and come away with the steal to turn it into a layup. She can also score on the block on iso plays like she’s a post or she can sit back and beat you from three if you go zone.
Jadyn Wooten Jadyn Wooten 5'6" | PG Blue Valley | 2024 State – Wooten might be your favorite player for plenty of reasons. When you watch her play she is constantly putting on a show. Her ability to score off the bounce against multiple defenders is extremely impressive. Jadyn is bringing that mid-range game back with her ability to make a killer crossover and get right into her pull-up. If you take the jumper away she’s not afraid to go into the floater when help-side rotates.
