The first half was not kind to Pulaski. They were down 20 going into halftime, and it would have been 30 if it wasn’t for. She had 16 of Pulaski’s 25 points and collected 7 rebounds. She was great in the mid-range and an absolute force on the offensive glass. She played big all night, and was why Pulaski got themselves back into the game in the second half. Keslyn finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Pulaski’s offense came from two players. I already mentioned one in Secrist, but the other was. I love Hannah’s ability to seal off defenders in the post because it gets her many easy baskets. She has an excellent mid-range game and showed that a couple of times. She had an efficient game scoring 23 points on 13 shots and collecting 6 rebounds.
The MVP of this game was. Kennedy showed off her special ball-handling and shot-making ability all day. She knocked down 5 threes and was unstoppable in the first half with 22 points. She had a move towards the end of the first half that was SportsCenter-worthy with a stepback three that dropped her defender. Kennedy finished with 35 points on 21 shots and a perfect 8-8 from the line. Kennedy is an exceptional talent and showed that in her final high school game.
struggled with foul trouble for most of this game, but she came up big when Hampton needed her. The momentum for most of the second half was on the side of Pulaski, and there was a point Hampton was looking for answers deep into the game. Kaliyah wasn’t a significant factor for most of the game, but when Hampton needed her, she showed up. She was big down the stretch on both ends and had a couple of buckets in the paint that put Pulaski away. She finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
Both Hampton Crabber bigs struggled with foul trouble today, but both were super impactful.was a monster on the glass today, and with Perry in foul trouble for most of the first half, Hunter gave them valuable minutes. She finished with 4 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 steals in a gritty performance. Hunter did that in only 20 minutes and gave Hampton incredible energy.
