List below are several young ladies that stood out to me on Day 2. The event had many great players which I am sure I am may have missed . If so I apologize I tried to cover every team at least more than once.
Jaciah McCalister DC Queens OKC 2026 Strong physical guard that plays aggressive on offense and defense. Quick on defense that understood defense rotation allowing her to get several steals in the press. Jaciah attacks the basket strong able to take the contact but yet still get her shot off. Hustled after every loose ball winning many 50/50 balls.
Kiylan Marks OWE 2026 Kiylan was only able to attend Sunday but made the most of her opportunity starting with 19 pts in the 8am game. Kiylan brings the hustle on both ends of the floor. Kiylan read the second level defense on the dribble drive finding the open player several times. She also did and excellent job as a rebounder as well. Great length and size for a guard.
Moriah Gastoon Krush Queens 2026 Moriah is a very quick guard that can push the tempo on fast breaks. Quick hands and quick feet makes her a lock down defender for the Krush Queens . At the point guard position she does an excellent job at creating for her teammates. List at 5’5 but she did not mind mixing it up with the bigs when it came to rebounding.
Taylor Wood Missouri Storm 2026 Taylor at 5’10 does an excellent job playing the small forward or guard spot. Moves well without the ball usually finding a gap in the defense. Taylor showed good hands being able to grab a pass and finishing an easy basket. On defense she got up in the passing lanes but quick enough still being able to help on rotation.
Amber Robinson House 4 Hoops 2026 Amber played most of the tournament as a undersize post on defense for her team. Amber is a strong physical player that was able to hold her own vs much taller players. Great rebounder that really did not need an outlet as she is able to handle the ball coast to coast. Good vision in the open floor as well Showed good moves plus taking contact while still scoring around the basket. She plays hard in matter of fact she got hit in nose and had to wait for her to take care of it before the picture.
Kyra Smith Kyra Smith 5'3" | CG Prague | 2026 State OK Team Oklahoma 2026 Good handles and vision from the guard position Played with an all out effort getting on the floor for several loose balls. Showed her range making several 3pt shots. Hard nose driver that can get to the rim off the bounce.
Alissa Owens Alissa Owens 5'10" | SF Joplin | 2026 MO MO Legacy 2026 Alissa at 5’10 is able to play at the forward position but is long and quick enough to defend away from the basket. Good footwork getting into the shot along with a quick release gives a nice quick shot from the outside. She moved great without the ball on both ends of the floor. Very physical at times who did not mind getting in the mix for a rebound. Runs the floor on breaks with good hands able to catch and finish
