Trinitee Holmes – Burlington
Holmes has continued to build upon her consistency as a facilitator, alongside her notable scoring in the mid-range. The 5’11 guard is an avid mid-range shotmaker, typically stepping into shots off the dribble. Burlington dominated this past season, going 21-5, in large part to Holmes. Her defensive intensity matters, through impactful help rotations while embracing high hands on contests. Through her junior season, the guard has put up 14 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4.4 steals per game.
Alana Biosse Alana Biosse 5'5" | SG Mallard Creek | 2024 NC – Cherokee Trail
Biosse has been very steady on both ends of the floor, while effectively finding ways to get downhill. The junior guard has no fear against contact, repeatedly seeking out drives in the paint or crashing the glass for potential offensive rebounds. She is most often getting into the paint following a closeout, where her first step is often enough to create the initial advantage. Should help defense arrive, trust that Biosse will find the baseline cutter or shotmaker. She had a productive year with 19-6 Cherokee Trail, posting 8.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.
Addison Branscum – Mountain View
Branscum provides a unique offensive skill set at 6′ tall, capable of seeing above the defense and scoring efficiently. The junior guard is methodical on offense, patiently searching for the best shot possible, either from herself or teammates. Branscum contributed from all over the floor her junior year, posting 20 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.4 steals per game while contributing 57% of field goal attempts. Typically scoring jumpers off the catch, Branscum has continued to refine her mechanics through the years. She has steadily improved her free throw percentage over the years, rising up from 52% her freshman year to 79% this season.
Delanie Mcmullen Delanie Mcmullen 5'8" | SG Palmer Ridge | 2024 State CO – Palmer Ridge
McMullen does her part to impact winning for an 18-6 Palmer Ridge group. The 5’9 guard stays true to the fundamentals, utilizing pump fakes to create initial advantages versus closeouts. McMullen is most effective scoring as a complementary threat, either from the catch and shoot jumper or straight line drives. Another noteworthy habit of McMullen’s is her willingness to make skip passes from side to side in the halfcourt, often impacting how the defense shades their group. Through her junior season, the guard posted 5.2 points, 1.9 assists, and 1 steal per game.
Taylor Ellington Taylor Ellington 5'7" | SG Green Mountain | 2024 State CO – Green Mountain
Ellington makes quick reads to find shotmakers, maximizing her team first mindset. The 5’6 guard seeks out the best shot possible, largely focusing on finding shotmakers coming off of weak side actions. Should opponents stay too low, Ellington is not afraid to let it fly from beyond the arc. Through her junior season with 16-9 Green Mountain, she has posted 7.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.1 steals per game.
