Jineen Ayyash – Ocean Township (2024)
Jineen is coming off a tremendous high school season where she played a crucial role in her team going 23-6 and making it to the Central Jersey, Group 3 title game. She did a great job of boxing out and crashing the glass to pull down the boards with authority, in addition to a great post-up game and awesome dime-distribution. She has terrific court awareness and knows when it’s best to shoot and when it’s best to pass. She brings her dynamic two-way game and sky-high basketball IQ to this Shoreshots squad.
Cassidy Brown Cassidy Brown 5'5" | PG Middletown South | 2024 NJ – Middletown South (2024)
Cassidy scored in double-figures six times this season and proved to be a legitimate scoring threat time after time. She did a tremendous job of slicing and cutting to the basket using her quickness and agility. She can torch you with the elbow jumper or light you up with her layup package. Her multi-faceted game will be crucial to this team’s success on the circuit.
Alyssa Cueto Alyssa Cueto 5'5" | CG Union City | 2024 State NJ – Union City (2024)
All gas, no brakes: this is the best way to describe Alyssa’s high-tempo, high-energy style of play. She is a pass-first player who has elite court vision and finds the open teammate even against the tightest of defenses. Her 153 assists in 28 games is a testament to her terrific point guard play. Combine that with her stellar, scrappy defense and you have a COMPLETE player.
Shayne Eldridge Shayne Eldridge 5'7" | CG Wall | 2024 State NJ – Wall (2024)
Shayne is a bucket, plain and simple. With 822 career points, she looks to eclipse the 1,000-point milestone in her senior year and cement herself as one of the greatest to ever play at Wall. She is an arc assassin and can absolutely bury the opponent from 3-point land, just ask Point Pleasant Boro. Shayne knocked down SIX triples against the Panthers en-route to a season-high 28 points. When she gets catches fire, you’ll need more than a fire extinguisher to contain those flames!
Kaci Mikulski Kaci Mikulski 5'8" | CG Wildwood Catholic Academy | 2024 State NJ – Wildwood Catholic (2024)
The All-CAL First Team honoree has a tremendous game. Where I’m from, we call that “a deep bag.” She can hurt you with the mid-range jumper, scorch you from the perimeter or get crafty with her layup game. Averaging just under 15 points per game for the Crusaders, Kaci showed us her bag of tricks all junior season long, leading her team to the South Jersey, Non-Public B title game. She proved that when given just an inch of space, she will make the defender pay!
Skylar Soltis Skylar Soltis 6'4" | C Southern Regional | 2024 State NJ – Southern (2024)
After a sensational sophomore season, Skylar suffered an ACL injury and underwent reconstruction surgery and a repair in her medial meniscus in June 2022. After months of rehab, hard work and extreme resilience, she took the court again for the first time January 27th against Jackson Memorial and picked up right where she left off! At 6’4″, she is a traditional back-to-the-basket big with excellent footwork and a soft touch around the rim. Defensively, she is a rebounding-machine and a shot-blocking beast. Skylar’s determination and will to succeed won’t ever let her down, and that makes her extremely dangerous!
Kimi Sayson Kimi Sayson 5'3" | PG Shore | 2025 State NJ – Long Branch (2025)
The Shoreshots are going to pose an incredible 3-point threat with the talent on this team, but especially with “Sniper Sayson!” She has unlimited range and can make it rain 3’s in the gym once she catches fire. With fifteen games in double-figure scoring, Kimi can hurt you in a number of ways that goes beyond her ability to shoot it from deep. She’s speedy, can take you off-the-dribble with her elite handles and can stop on a dime to pull up from 15 feet and bury the mid-range jumper. She plays scrappy defense and forces a number of turnovers, also creating transition scoring opportunities for her team.
Emma Thornton Emma Thornton 5'11" | C Barnegat | 2025 State NJ – Barnegat (2023)
Emma plays much bigger than her 5’10” frame suggests, and her twenty-two double-doubles this season serve as proof! Averaging 18 ppg and 15 rpg, the double-double machine asserted her dominance game after game, even posting a 24-rebound performance against Manchester Township. She can post-up and take it inside or pull it out to 3-point territory and drill it from deep. Double-teamed, triple-teamed, it doesn’t matter! Emma is one of those players you can only hope to contain, because stopping her altogether is a near-impossible task.
Olivia Ventre – Red Bank Catholic (2024)
Liv’s work ethic is undeniable. Often times referred to as “the hardest worker in the gym,” she continues to improve her game, work on her fitness and hone her craft. Best described as a swing-man, her solid 5’9″ frame and superb speed allows her to play both small forward and shooting guard positions effectively. She has terrific footwork, a nice hesitation move and the ability to create space for herself against tight pressure defense. Liv has a lot of tricks in her arsenal and will look to put them on full display this Spring and Summer!
