Audra Hillman Audra Hillman 6’0″ | SF Wake Forest | 2024 NC had some nice moves in the paint spinning to some points. She followed shots on both ends and grabbed offensive rebounds for more points. She showed her dynamic scoring ability knocking down her shot from deep. She slid into passing lanes grabbing steals and pushing the ball up the court.
Tamiria Jones
Tamiria Jones
Tamiria Jones was all over the court going up high for some rebounds and using some nice jab steps to attack the basket. She was knocking down shots from deep including in transition to get some points. Her ability to score on all levels kept her team in a tough game against a group that eventually won the championship in their division.
Emerson Thompson Emerson Thompson 5’9″ | CG Falls Lake Academy | 2024 State NC exploded up the court for some fast break points keeping her defender square against her opposite shoulder to score with ease. She did a nice job leading her opponent to traps in order to grab steals for her team. She moves well around the arc finding the gap and being ready for the shot that she drains easily off the pass from her teammates.
Kenzie Ross
Kenzie Ross
Kenzie Ross was scoring on all levels sliding into the openings or creating her own space. She was making her opponents pay for leaving her open around the arc showing off her stroke throughout the game. She has an eye for the ball on the defensive side of the court even being able to block shots with ease.
Charlotte Torgerson Charlotte Torgerson 5’7″ | CG Watauga | 2024 State NC has a nice stroke from deep knocking down three in the first half. Her court vision is apparent as she knows how to move with the ball to get the open look, or she relocates without the ball shifting the defense and creating her own space. On defense, she is sure to strip the ball from her opponents to push the other direction.
I’ve talked about Chloe Moss Chloe Moss 5’11” | PF Independence | 2024 State NC before as someone who controls the paint and protects the block. Over the past year, though, including her tournament at Apache, she continued to show off her range shooting the ball. She continues to show her increased versatility scoring on all levels being able to shoot it, handle the ball, and use her strength inside to work for some points.
