There were several events that took place that had college coaches and scouts from all over the country flocking to be in attendance such as the Boo Williams Nike EYBL circuit in Hampton, VA, The Clash in Hamilton, OH, The Apache Memorial Showcase in Knoxville, TN and UA Rise Session I at the Nook in Manheim, PA. Prep Girls Hoops Circuit also hosted the Crossroads Clash in Indianapolis, IN.
Check out these prospects that have really increased their stock during the AAU season so far as well during the first live period last weekend.
After an explosive sophomore season averaging 18.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game leading GRC in both categories. Ciara Byars Ciara Byars 6'2" | CG George Rogers Clark | 2025 State KY is carrying that momentum into the AAU season for Kentucky Premier 17U. Since competing at the Boo Williams EYBL last weekend her stock is on a meteoric rise as she stood out amongst some of the top prospects in the country. Byar’s picked up four D1 offers this week which included three Power 5 schools. With college coaches salivating over her abilities and potential is her gaining more and more interest this summer.

The Lady Vision Elite 2024 team went 3-1 at the UA Rise Session 1 last weekend after losing to a tough FBC United Select team. Nadine Johnson Nadine Johnson 5'7" | PG Pineville | 2024 State KY really came to play she showed that she can be a floor general and distribute the ball to her teammates putting them in position to score. Johnson displayed good composure against some tenacious defenders as well as she took on most of the ball handling responsibilities. She also made an impact defensively, disrupting the offensive flow of the opposing team with her ball pressure. Her best all-round game came against Canada Elite Rise she had 14 points, 4 steals, 3 assist, and 2 rebounds.
Savannah Jarvis Savannah Jarvis 6'0" | SG Lafayette | 2025 State KY is playing on the EYBL circuit for the first time running with Kentucky Premier ‘s 16U team. She had a solid weekend overall she showed consistency shooting from the outside while making an impact defensively by guarding the perimeter and protecting the rim. Simpson is playing with confidence and has been working hard on her game I see her making huge strides this AAU season.

In her first travel season running with Kentucky Premier 16U Samaya Wilkins is showing flashes of her big time potential. This past weekend at the Boo Williams EYBL she turned heads with her great play, which is high praise considering she was probably the youngest player on the court between all the teams they went up against. Wilkins averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds per game throughout the tournament.

The Kentucky Blue Devil’s 15U team have played in three tournaments so far. They had some chemistry issues at the start of the travel season due to a lot of new faces but Olivia Ginn’s courage, poise, leadership and high level play is starting to bring the team together. At the Queen City Shootout against Cincinnati Heat Premier15U she took her defense to another level racking up 6 steals while causing several 5 second calls with her relentless ball pressure. She also had 15 points in that game. Ginn performed well at the PGH Circuit’s Crossroads Clash in Indianapolis this past weekend also. Her best game was against Rice Academy 15U she dropped 20 points, along with 2 steals, 3 assist, and 2 rebounds. This 20 point performance was the highlight of the tournament for KBD even though they didn’t come away with the win every game they earned the respect of the teams they faced and from the people in attendance.
Hope Dever Hope Dever 5'4" | SG Lewis County | 2025 WV is off to a good start for OV Lady Dragons Black this year it looks like she has been focusing on being a better all-around player and not relying so heavily off of her three point shot. At The Clash last weekend she had a big game against Strick Hoops dropping 18 points in a hard fought game.

At the Apache Memorial Showcase Allison Mosby played great in all three games for OTP. Her best game was against Team JAZ she put up 11 points while doing an excellent job sharing the ball and getting others involved. Look for her to continue this level of play for the rest of the season.
