This team is deep at every position with loads of talent from top to bottom. Watching them dismantle the Urbana Hawks 65-7 without pressing leaves me very curious on how they would compare to other EYBL and shoe company teams. Here is the lowdown on the team based on my observance over the weekend.
SHOOTERS:
Every team needs an outside threat to keep defenders honest and spread the floor to open up the game for others.
Miley has a smooth quick release and nice follow through. Her shots have a nice rotation and even her misses look like they are about to go in.
Highlights
Kasey was able to knock down open shots and proved to be a threat from beyond the arc. She moves well to the open spot to free herself up for the outlet pass.
REBOUNDERS:
Controlling the boards and the paint can be the key to controlling the game.
Jaila is one of the most intriguing players on this team due to the fact of the body transformation she has made since middle school. This shows a level of commitment that only a select few players have. She finished well inside and rebounded the ball on both ends getting second chance points for her team and denying then for the opposition.
Sophia Brooks

Sophia is active inside going after every loose ball. She gives her team extra opportunities because of her effort. She has a good physical holds her post position well in the block.
Miley has a good inside presence to add to her range adding versatility to her game.
Highlights
PLAYMAKERS:
Whether it’s the point or combo the play on both ends starts with these players.
Arianna was able to make plays for herself as well as her teammates. She had a nice midrange jumper when she got past the first level but kept her head up for cutters as well.
Highlights
Cai moved well with the ball and looked like the best player on the floor for the majority of the game. She scored from inside and out and attacked and finished slashing in the half court and full court transition.

Nevaeh has a similar skillset as her sister Cai and at times they look like the exact same player. Her upside may be a little higher as she will have an extra year of developing being a grade lower. She seemed comfortable playing up with the older players.
FLOOR GENERALS:
These are the leaders, the players that make the Ferrari go. They have a high IQ and makes the players around them better. They are unselfish, yes, they can score but they know when to score.
She made shots from outs and on the break. She showed her ability to score and was directly responsible for half of the points that her teammates scored which is what a true point guard does.
Kasey was great on the ball as a defender and also made plays with the ball on the offensive end. She controlled the flow of the game and finished when she attacked the basket.
