At the Ihoopcrazy Elite 40 showcase, Ryley was a player that many coaches gravitated towards. She’s a different player, a very specific and to-the-point type of player. To her advantage, she’s not the type of player who’s going to pound the ball out of air. She’s a player who’s intentional on her guard player. At the showcase, I seen, she likes to play downhill and drive to the hoop. She’s good at drawing fouls. She knows how to manipulate game situations to put her defender in a compromising position. If there is a lane, she’s taking it and going full speed. She looks for her angle and takes it. No questions asked. She’s a Streaky shooter. She’ll hit the ones she should, when open, but when she’s on – she doesn’t miss! She can drain it from wherever. When she’s feeling it, she’s an unbelievable shooter. She’s a unique player that stood out completely from most of the other girls at the ihoopcrazy elite 40 showcase due to the way she approaches the game. She plays hard every second and is always looking to win. She doesn’t turn it off. That’s what I love about watching her play. Her intensity! She does well in catch-and-shoot situations. She’s a player that needs more attention across the region.
Mya Lambert
Mya Lambert is a force to be reckoned with. She’s a player to absolutely watch. She’s another player who has extreme talent and x-factor that doesn’t get the shine she probably should. At the Ihoopcrazy Elite 40 showcase, she was out standing. She brought a different component to the drills and scrimmage aspect to the showcase that wasn’t expected. Mya knows how to use her body to create opportunities. She sees pockets in the defenses space that most players don’t see. She does well with physical contact and knows how to absorb the contact to create a leverage opportunity on the court. What impressed me was how often she looked for the mid-range jump-shot. She shot the ball so well off-the-dribble probably the best out of anyone from the showcase. At her size, she does well at the one spot. She’s a well built scoring combo-guard that can be a threat from any where on the court. She’s not a player many people know of, on the scene, but if you get to watch her play you’ll notice she’s quick off her feet and she can shoot the rock.
Emma Smith Emma Smith 5'9" | SG Cca | 2026 State NewE
Emma Smith Emma Smith 5'9" | SG Cca | 2026 State NewE is a complete superstar on the rise and there’s no question about that. She’s a 2026, close to 6 feet tall, guard with strong handle and smooth jump-shot. She’s a threat anywhere on the court and she knows it. Trying to shut her down is a games plan for any program or defending coach and it was seen at the ihoopcrazy Elite 40 showcase. During the 5 on 5 portion of the showcase, the other 5 teams had such a hard time stopping her – they basically had to just deal with her all showcase. She’s an Intense shooter. Emma hits 3’s like it’s nothing. If you leave her open, she’s shooting it, if you give her too much space, she’s shooting it and she’s going to hit it. Her footwork and muscle memory allows for quick and easy stop and pop jump-shots and jump shots off the rip in game settings. She’s a player that get “it” she understands the game and what she wants from it. Her speed was undeniable. She’s quick with the ball snd quick with her decisions. She’s on the rise.
At the ihoopcrazy elite 40 showcase Sam Lehman Sam Lehman 5'9" | SG Loomis Chaffee | 2025 NewE was efficient and did all the little things right. She’s a vibrant competitor that takes the ins-and-outs of the game seriously. She shoots the ball with purpose and brings the intensity to the court. Sam is a high energy player with great leadership skills as a guard. Her IQ is unmatched making her a coach on the court. She’s a player who needs more attention.
Kate Smith Kate Smith 5'7" | SF CCA | 2026 State NewE
Kate Smith Kate Smith 5'7" | SF CCA | 2026 State NewE is a 2026 big guard that plays the game aggressively and hard. at the ihoopcrazy Elite 40 showcase, I noticed she’s a player who has all of the pieces to the puzzle to be a scholarship player. She can score the ball off-the-dribble and take her defender left or right. She’s well disciplined and patient, on the court, looking for the right play at the right time. She can shoot the ball exceptionally and consistently. Her size allows her to play the 2-3 spot while her skillset and IQ makes her position-less. She has heart and wants to win. She’s well equipped with the fundamentals of the game. For example, when the opposing team shot the ball, she was looking for a body to box out. If there’s a loose ball, Kate was on it. She’s a warrior. A player who just wants to win. The future is bright for her.
