Let’s take a look at some of the standout post players from the event.
Ella Hobbs Ella Hobbs 6’4″ | SF Jay M. Robinson | 2024 State NC continued to show off her dominance in the paint using some nice power dribbles starting with her back to the basket and ending with two points and even three points at times as she finished from the free throw line. She seals off her opponents making sure she can open up the space for the best entry pass from her teammates.
Kirstin Smalls Kirstin Smalls 6’1″ | PF Panther Creek | 2024 NC was getting inside for rebounds battling against anyone on the block. She did a nice job cutting to the block getting the entry pass and bucket. She’s got some nice post moves that she uses being able to turn and face or go right up for the basket.
Ola Noworol Ola Noworol 6’3″ | C Rabun Gap | 2025 State NC was cleaning up the glass on offensive fast breaks being ready to put the ball right back up through the hoop. She hustled up and down the court being ready to block shots in transition as well. She had some nice moves in transition creating some space for her to lose her defender and score some points.
Breah Franks Breah Franks 6’3″ | C J.L. Mann | 2025 State SC was dominant on the block handling the ball against pressure and using her body to move her defender where she wanted them to go. She sealed off her opponents well being ready for the pass. Another thing that stood out about her was how vocal she was on the defensive side of the ball as she used her ability to see the whole court to communicate with her teammates.
Olivia Robertson Olivia Robertson 6’3″ | C Mallard Creek | 2025 State NC slid into the openings reading her defenders well as her teammate drove in the paint. She anticipated passes well on defense deflecting them in the air to prevent her opponents from getting any offense going. She knew exactly how to open up the court for herself or step into the midrange game pulling her defender with her to open up the lane for her teammate.

Brooklyn Twitty
Brooklyn Twitty was all over the boards grabbing rebounds, and she saw the floor well knowing how to move the ball to shift the defense. She constantly flashed in and around the paint on offense finding the gaps. Already standing above her peers, she is certainly a player to keep your eyes on.
