Just under 1,000 career points and averaging 17+ppg, 8+rbg and 2+spg in just two seasons at Madison HS, Charlotte’s skills were on full display at The Clash. She is big and physical and uses her body well inside whether it is to find her way to the rim or seal people off the boards where she can attack rebounds. She is perfectly comfortable stepping out and shooting the 3 as evidenced by her 17 games with multiple 3s as a sophomore. She is an instinctive defender off the ball. Charlotte uses her softball skills on court as the strength of her arm passing in tight windows for the United 17u Select 40 was on display on multiple occasions in Ohio.
Lilly is very efficient at the offensive end. She is patient and takes what the defense gives her and gets to spots where she can score while looking very comfortable with the ball in her hands. She looks to move the ball and get herself setup for the ball to come back to her in the offense. She can score inside and out, and her range is continuing to develop beyond the 3-point line with more consistency. Defensively she gets good position on the glass and attacks rebounds while looking to initiate transition for the United 16u Select 40 team. Her role coming into her junior year should continue to grow and evolve on a young and talented Trinity Hall HS team led by Harvard commit Nina Emnace Nina Emnace 5’6″ | PG Trinity Hall | 2024 State NJ .
Highlights
Reghan was all over the court at The Clash. She’s always playing with a motor. Her tough in your face defense sets the tone for the United 16u Select 40 team. She forces offenses into mistakes with her physical style and has great footwork on the ball. Offensively she shows a strong pull up game and when she goes to the rim, she uses her body to create space and finish inside. She averaged 9+ppg, 5+rpg, 2+spg and 2+blg after transferring from South Hunterdon HS. Along with fellow sophomores Francesca Schiro Francesca Schiro 5’6″ | CG Hillsborough | 2025 State NJ and Mya Loniewski Mya Loniewski 5’3″ | PG Hillsborough | 2025 State NJ the future is bright at Hillsborough HS.
On an undersized United 15u Select 40 team, Toni showed no fear defensively and was routinely shutting down players 3-4 inches taller than her in the post. She is just as comfortable switching to cover guards on the perimeter and uses great footwork to stay in front of the ball and provide a lot of ball pressure. Her length and high defensive IQ allow her to get her hands on passes and also contest and block shots in the paint. She boxes out extremely well and is routinely on the floor after loose balls. Offensively, the best thing I saw from Toni is how relentless she is attacking the offensive glass and either finishing inside or keeping possessions alive. She is comfortable finishing with both hands in the paint and has a reliable jumper out to the 3-point line. On a Ramapo HS team that is losing 8 seniors, I’d expect a big jump in production in Toni’s sophomore year.
