The event was held Saturday and Sunday and featured some of the top talent in Southern California. I was able to attend the event on Saturday and here’s a look at some of the top wings I saw.
1.

Pascual is a solid wing with good handles and some playmaking ability. She can handle the ball in the halfcourt and in transition. Does a good job staying middle on breaks and attacking the basket in the halfcourt. Good catch and shoot player from three-point range. Uses shot fakes to get into the lane and can kick the ball out to open teammates. Good stance on ball defensively and able to switch well off picks.
2.
Journey Wilson

Wilson is a combo guard who does a good job pushing the pace in transition. Able to throw shot fakes and get the defender to bite for drives into the lane. Does well attacking the basket, drawing contact and getting to the free-throw line. Also able to hit the pull-up jumper in the halfcourt. Defensively, she is solid on ball and pressures the ball-handler.
3.
Alyssa Ramirez

Ramirez is a wing who can handle the ball and is comfortable creating her own shot in the halfcourt. She has a solid outside shot and can use fakes on the closeouts to drive in closer to the basket. She can shoot the midrange pull-up off the dribble as well. She stood defensively too with her on ball defense and ability to contest jumpers well.
4.
Juliana O’Brien

Mira Costa | 2024

– Mira Costa 2024
O’Brien is a bigger guard who also has a little playmaking to her game. She’s strong and able to finish through traffic at the basket. She has solid handles and attacks the defense in transition. Able to go coast to coast and finish. Able to knock down the catch and shoot three. When she attacks the basket she can hit the little floater in the lane. Good rebounder for a guard.
