Here is your 2nd team all state state selection. She plays for Archbishop Murphy, a team who plays in the 3A/2A Wesco as one of only two teams at the 2A level. The league featured 3A state tournament teams such as Stanwood, Lynwood, Everett, and Arlington. That didn’t matter much to Blachly as she had some big games against state tournament teams and averaged over 16 points for the season. She is a lights out shooter, who had some big games early in the season forcing teams to focus on her more in the latter part of the season. She still put up good numbers, averaging more against the state qualifying teams, including 22 against state 1A champion Nooksack,20 vs stanwood, and 22 vs Meadowdale. She hit multiple threes in almost every game and was in the 20 plus points range for a good part of the season. One of the best young shooters in the state. She also handled much of the point guard duties and was solid doing so. She is a scorer and I’m sure this team will rely on her to get buckets throughout the AAU season. She already has a game winner, knocking down a corner three to defeat 15U Tree of Hope EYBL at the buzzer. She has ice in her veins, and shoots it with confidence from anywhere on the floor.
Highlights
Another ranked player in the Class of 2026 by Prep Girls Hoops. A starter for Bothell, who made it to the state tournament this season. She is a tough player who can get you rebounds and defend. She plays with intensity and also scored six points per game this season as a freshman. She added five rebounds and was an important piece for Bothell in the state tournament run as a freshman. Sister Mckylee Hawkins Mckylee Hawkins 5’11” | SG Bothell | 2024 State WA is a talented offensive player and was the leading scorer for Bothell. She will also be back next season.
An all metro eague player as a freshman for Roosevelt this season. Her numbers through 13 games according to Max Preps were 12.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 3.8 steals per game. She can also shoot it, with 24 threes made at 35% in those 13 games. A player who has good offensive skills, can handle the ball, and adds more pressure defense to this team. Her best asset might be her shooting skills, but she is a well rounded offensive player who is also great in the open floor. She can run the point or play off the ball, and did both alongside another talented freshman Giselle Dollar Giselle Dollar 5’7″ | CG Roosevelt | 2026 State WA at Roosevelt this past season.

Tumwater high school product is another who had success with her high school team, making it to the 2A state tournament. They ran into some tough luck losing top player and Defensive game changer Regan Brewer Regan Brewer 5’4″ | PG Tumwater | 2024 State WA in district to injury. Riley is a great defensive player in her own right. Although she wasn’t the best defender on her team, not many would be with a player like Brewer as a teammate. Riley is a good on ball defensive player with quickness. Tumwater won games with defense and she was a big factor in that. She was also the 3rd leading scorer for Tumwater at just under 8 points a game this season. I don’t believe I have mentioned a player who doesn’t play well on the defensive end for this team. Blachly, Brown,Hawkins, and Lipkin should take on scoring roles and Beebe is a player who can score but she is best on the defensive end of the floor where she averaged 2 steals a game during the high school season.

Started as a freshman for that same Bothell team as Hawkins who made it to the round of 12 at state before falling to a tough Kamiakin team. She averaged just over five points, with some great shooting skills of her own. She excels at the catch and shoot threes with great shot mechanics. She didn’t take a lot but shot 50% from long range through 20 games according to Max Preps. She is also a good defensive player, snagging 1.6 steals per game. She has good enough ball handling skills to get the break going with good floor vision once she gets the ball off of those steals. She plays under control with a high basketball IQ. Another versatile player who can play either guard spot and defend at a high level. Bothell had a young team and should be a good bet to make it back to Tacoma next season.

An important part of a state run for West Seattle as a bench player. She is an excellent defensive player with good quickness. That showed up on the stat sheet as she averaged 2.6 steals per game, including games of 6 and 8 steals. She can play the small forward spot and provides the versatility to guard any position on the floor. West Seattle had some great players. Those were valuable minutes as a freshman, making a difference, mainly on defense. Good athlete who is a potentially great defender. West Seattle returns virtually their entire team, led by the ultra talented backcourt of Lucy Larson Lucy Larson 5’10” | PG West Seattle | 2024 State WA , and Carmen Cruz Carmen Cruz 5’10” | SG West Seattle | 2024 State WA . Alyssa Neumann Alyssa Neumann 6’1″ | PF West Seattle | 2025 State WA is another ranked player in our Prep Hoops rankings that will be back along with these two freshman.

She played on the JV team this season. That said, she is a good candidate to make a big impact next season on the varsity squad with her size and inside play. There will be two future Lake Washington players, Giselle Fialho will be attending LW and word has it that she has the ability to be a big time player in the future. I have yet to watch her play, so more on that in the future.

Here is another class of 2027 player that will be a freshman next season at Bellevue high school. She is lefty and another player who can shoot it for this team. High IQ player who played with FBC AAU last year.
