Jayla Williams-5’8 G ( Team Game Changer 2027) Summit [2027]
Williams immediately impressed me by playing the passing lane yet she also used her athleticism on both ends applying pressure defensively as well as rebounding. She scored “off the dribble” and finished after contact also showed good court vision with crisp passes in traffic for assists
Dahlia Wright-5’5 G ( Team Game Changer 2027) Legacy [2027]
Wright was RIGHT on the as she falls into that #sizedontmatter hashtag because she can play. Her smothering defense helped create turnovers, she has quick hands and plays the passing lane but she also created her shot nicely to attack and or dish
Jayden Golden- League City Sharks
Golden continues to add more to her game yet her “poise under pressure” has also shot up. She’s heady and uses a deceptive first step to get by the defender to either score, dish, or drop the jumper. She also joins the “playing the passing lane” team as she did it over and over
Aubrey Patrick- League City Sharks
Patrick is “long and athletic” and that will always be the base. She rebounded on both ends, scored around the basket, putbacks included and she attacked off the dribble to finish after contact. I think her timing needs to be mentioned as she blocked, altered and (or) deflected shots
Jaylei Davis-5’7 G (SSW Elite 2028) North Caddo MS [2029]
Davis’s upside is scary as she’s a 6th grader playing up and making noise. Her first step leaves the defender standing, and her body control on her finishes is also impressive but she drops the mid to long-range with ease, and her “on the ball” pressure is ahead of her years
Joslyn Martin-5’10 F (SSW Elite 2028) Youree Drive MS [2028]
Martin is “long and athletic” yet her “power in the paint” was very nice as she finished with players literally hanging on her. She rebounded and ran the floor on both ends, defended in and outside the paint and her timing to block shots was also nice but so is her UPSIDE
Amazing Omolola (Pro Skills 2027)
Omolola is “long and athletic” please remember that is the base and her dad mentioned she’s only an 7th grader which has me looking ahead in my crystal ball on what’s coming. She goes after EVERYTHING off the rim, her timing was solid and she finished around the basket after contact
Brooklyn Kennedy (Pro Skills 2027)
Kennedy is an athletic guard that can shoot the”mid to long-range” but peep this, her “catch and shoot” is going to help create problems, especially since she can attack the basket and she sees the floor. She defends and plays the passing lane
Aliyah Murphy-5’7 G (Lady Pro Skills Austin) Hernandez [2027]
Murphy has shown plenty of progression since I last saw her over a year ago but she has that “long and athletic” base to build on and her timing and rebounding has shot up. She also scored off the dribble yet her finishes, putbacks included, after contact, have also taken a jump
Madison Johnson (TNBA 2027)
Johnson has the size and frame as she joins my “scary upside” group. She BATTLES inside the paint, let me drop that #THRO WBA CK hashtag because not only do I love that, but so do college coaches yet she’s defending and finishing stronger around the basket after contact
Loghan Ware-5’8 G (SSW Elite 2027) Brooadmoor MS [2027]
Ware is “long and athletic” and as you can see I love that profile yet more importantly so do college coaches. She too has good timing to block, alter and (or) select shots but she also attacked the basket to score and she saw the floor. She rebounded strongly on both ends, nice upside
Hailey Neal-5’4 G ( North Houston Hustle 2027) Schindewolf Intermediate [2028]
Neal is playing up which is also short for upside, well sort of but I like hers, and here’s why. She’s a “long and athletic” guard that handles the ball under pressure but on the flip, she applies pressure on the defensive end. She has good timing, she showed the jumper and saw the floor
