2024, 6’2, C, St. Thomas Aquinas HS, Mya Johnson – post presence for her team, seals very well on both blocks and has soft hands to catch for easy buckets. She is also very agile as a big and used her size to her advantage. She was a key rebounder on the team and was able to consistently seal her opponent and retrieve the ball. She also rebounded out of her position, she had a good nose for the ball. We loved her size and agility and she ran the floor well, which was very impressive in transition for easy buckets.
2024, 5’11, SF, Palmer Trinity HS, Jade Leon Jade Leon 5'11" | CG Palmer Trinity | 2024 State FL – slender guard with a nice shot, can also get to the rim and finish thru contact. Knows how to defend and is very active on the floor, we love her energy as a player. She used her size well to take advantage of smaller guards, she could take them down low and score over them. She was also capable of handling the ball, she would rebound it and then run the lane to get easy scores.
2024, 6’1, PF, Blanche Ely HS, Gianna Corbitt Gianna Corbitt 6'1" | SF Blanche Ely | 2024 State FL – athletic wing type that knows how to use her size and athleticism on the floor, will pull up in your face and runs the floor like a gazelle for easy finishes. She rebounded the ball well on both sides of the court, she could even use her length to block shots off the glass or in a man to man situation. She ran the floor well, got transtition buckets and was able to pass the ball, which we though was very impressive in our opinon.
2024, 5’9, SG, Blanche Ely HS, Janessa Kelley Janessa Kelley 5'9" | SG Blanche Ely | 2024 State FL – transition guard that can get up and down the floor and finish on the break. Picks ball off on the defensive end and can turn them into buckets. She had a nice sweet lefty jumpshot that was like butter, but we loved her tenacity on the floor in transition, she got down the floor quick and made things happen for herself and teammates. She defended well and kept her man in front, she did a good job containing her opponent, she did a great job on the defensive end.
