Amanda was shooting it with confidence for the Jersey Gemz HGSL 2024 squad. She has a high offensive IQ and gets to her spots quickly. When she catches on the perimeter you better be close, or she will stick the 3 on you. She catches and gets right into her shot and shoots it with a ton of confidence. She averaged 2+ 3-pointers per game as a junior at Scotch Plains-Fanwood HS and that confidence was on display in Atlantic City. Over 1,000 points in 3 years she averaged 21+ppg as a junior clearly showing she can score at all 3 levels. She is an opportunistic defender who takes good angles off the ball to get in passing lanes and get steals.

Whether it’s for the Jersey Gemz HGSL 2024 or at Mainland Regional HS, Ava and her sister Bella Mazur Bella Mazur 5’8″ | SG Mainland | 2024 State NJ are trouble. Ava demands the ball on offense and dictates how the offense runs. She trusts her teammates and willingly shares the ball to find the best scoring opportunities. She is comfortable finishing creatively inside or taking advantage of space on the perimeter and dropping 3s. In transition she moves the ball up the court quickly and is always looking to pass ahead. She pressures the ball defensively and is skilled at disrupting opposing offenses.
The other half of this dynamic duo, Bella is so in tune to the game going on around her and you can tell she know exactly what to do when Ava Mazur Ava Mazur 5’7″ | SG Mainland | 2024 State NJ has the ball. She gets out quick in transition and runs to spots where she can do damage. When she puts it on the deck and gets in the lane, she is patient at reading the defense and either finishing herself or dishing to the open teammate. Defensively, if the ball is on the floor Bella is going to be on top of it. She is tenacious at the defensive end and is willing to pressure the ball from baseline to baseline. All 4 leading scorers will be back at Mainland HS next year so watch out for a juggernaut in the Cape-Atlantic League.
Highlights
A versatile offensive weapon for the NJ Rise 2026 National team, Grace can sit at the 3-point line and stick it. She is patient off the bounce and can find her way to the rim. She can also get inside and play with her back to the basket. When she gets to the rim, she finishes over defenders with either hand. Grace is another member of a deep team that buys into sharing the ball to get the best scoring opportunity. Her length is a tremendous asset defensively. She affects a lot of shots inside and uses good positioning to rebound the ball high. With almost the entire Trinity Hall team back next year from a 22-6 season, Grace should be a big part of a big-time program.
