I think this will really help give everyone a better idea of who to watch out for this summer, leading into the season this winter. Enjoy!
#1. Peyton Cox Peyton Cox 5'11" | PF Wauneta-Palisade | 2024 State NE – Wauneta-Palisade High School
Peyton Cox Peyton Cox 5’11” | PF Wauneta-Palisade | 2024 State NE has a game that speaks for itself on the court. A strong power forward who puts up large and consistent numbers, on a regular basis in attempts to help her team try to win. Last season for her Junior year at Wauneta-Palisade high school Cox averaged 15.9 PPG, 15.8 RPG, and 3 BPG. Saying this is an impressive stat line would be an understatement as 16/16 a game is one of the best stat lines out of the entire midwest when comparing the numbers across a few states. Cox will return this summer with a mission on her mind as she tries to put together a senior year to remember. Something that she is going to give her all while doing.
#2. Lorissa Reiman Lorissa Reiman 5'9" | PF St. Mary's | 2024 State NE – St. Marys High School

Lorissa Reiman Lorissa Reiman 5'9" | PF St. Mary's | 2024 State NE
Lorissa Reiman Lorissa Reiman 5’9″ | PF St. Mary’s | 2024 State NE has a good amount of coordination and skill for her position/age. A player that can change the outcome of a game by her rebounding ability, who seems to bring a lot to the table when it comes to the game of basketball. Reiman is of good size and athleticism. She moves well off of the ball while being a seasoned player in the post. She understands angles to a T and moves well from block-to-block. When you are talking about a player with a great mix of skill while having passion for the game, you need to bring up Reiman. She is going to be a huge piece to her high school teams puzzle this winter after returning off of a season where she averaged 11.2 PPG, 10.7 RPG, and 2 SPG. Numbers that were/are better than most!
#3. Mikah O’Neill – Sumner-Eddyville-Miller High School
Mikah O’Neill
Mikah O’Neill
Mikah O’Neill is a player that embodies what it means to be an athlete that gives it their all at whatever sport they are competing in. O’Neill, a 5’11 power forward, is a hard working forward who hypes up her teammates, puts her body on the line each and every game, and has a high motor when she is going up to rebound the basketball. With her skill and athletic ability I wouldn’t be shocked that she catches some interest this summer and into her high school season this winter. From what I can see from afar she is also a promising young talent on the volleyball court so when the time comes, she might have a big decision to make.
#4. Jaelynne Clarke Jaelynne Clarke 5'9" | CG Alliance | 2024 State NE – Alliance High School
Jaelynne Clark
Jaelynne Clark
Jaelynne Clark is the definition of a ball hawk. A combo guard that is very good at understanding where the ball is going to be and when it’s going to be there. She possesses a pair of quick hands and feet that help her fly to the position she thinks is going to be best, usually leading to a tip/deflection or steal. Currently she moves around the floor to a few different positions but with her size she excels at the combo guard spot or the 3 position. A player with good size but who can move better than most at the same time. I’m excited to see the type of season she puts together this winter. With what I’ve been seeing thus far, there is a lot to look forward to.
#5. Jacelyn Jorgensen Jacelyn Jorgensen 5'10" | PF Paxton | 2024 NE – Paxton High School
Jacelyn Jorgensen Jacelyn Jorgensen 5'10" | PF Paxton | 2024 NE
Jacelyn Jorgensen Jacelyn Jorgensen 5'10" | PF Paxton | 2024 NE
Jacelyn Jorgensen Jacelyn Jorgensen 5’10” | PF Paxton | 2024 NE rounds off our top 5 rebounders list returning this summer for the 2024 class. Jorgensen, like everyone else above her in this category, put up an incredible stat line for her junior season at Paxton high school. Jorgensen averaged 11.4 PPG, 10 RPG, 3 SPG, and 2 APG while helping her team to an overall 15-7 record. A pretty impressive year when you look at everything in total. This season I expect the same consistent production out of Jorgensen that she showed last year while putting together a season where her team could really make a run at the state tournament. This offseason she is putting in work, trying to better herself for her team. Something that really says a lot about her as she really wants the people around her to succeed more then anything else.
