We made it to a few courts and got a chance to see some threes launched, some dimes dished, and some boards crashed. In this article, we look at some of the top performances that came out of the Junior class.
Courtney Lowe Courtney Lowe 5'4" | CG Boca Raton | 2024 State FL / Boca Raton Community HS / FGB Elite 17U Gold
Lowe delivered the most outstanding shooting performance of the day. The smooth-shooting lefty connected on six three pointers and was shooting all over the court. Her six threes were amazing, but her confidence was equally impressive.
Jocelyn Wallace Jocelyn Wallace 5'7" | CG Gainesville | 2024 State FL / 2024 SG / Gainesville High School / Southeast United Blue 2024
The explosiveness is real. Wallace put her head down and was not going to be denied getting to the rim. Her elevation was impressive and that speaks to how athletic the guard is. Wallace plays with a lot of energy and in transition, her game really stands out. Defensively, she was all over the place, playing good on ball defense.
Kylie Morris Kylie Morris 6'0" | PF Windermere Prep | 2024 State FL / 2024 PF / Windermere Prep High School / FGB Elite 17U Gold
Morris was a force on both ends of the court. Her defensive presence stood out and she put up great resistance in the paint all game long. She heated up in the 2nd half with 8 points to finish in double digit in scoring. Morris was close to double digits in rebounds as well. At 6’0, Morris was one of the most athletic players on the court. Her ability to mix it up on both ends of the court was impressive.
Kayla Massey Kayla Massey 5'4" | PG Jean Ribault | 2024 State FL / 2024 / Ribault High School / FGB Elite 17U Gold
We are use to seeing Massey at the point, but she played primarily at the 2 spot and showed some versatility to her game. Massey harassed the backcourt all game long and played great on- ball defense, coming up with some steals and layups. Massey impacted the game from the defensive side of the court and against some quality guards as well.
Aniyah Campbell Aniyah Campbell 5'10" | PF Ridgeview | 2024 State FL / 2024 PF / Ridgeview / Southeast United Josey
Campbell provided the energy and her hustle never stopped from the beginning of the game until the end. She showed versatility on the defensive end, defending guards and bigs. Campbell also provided a spark in the transition game, scoring on several fast break opportunities, and also creating other opportunities with strong rebounds and effective outlet passes to the guards.
