Today we take a look at the Yanders Law 2025 team, which features talented young players from the SWMO area and Arkansas. After watching a few of their games from the spring, he is a look at the players that we watched.
Jaicee Carrasquillo Jaicee Carrasquillo 5'5" | PG Verona | 2026 State MO (Verona): A 5’4″ 2026 point guard who can distribute the basketball well with her court vision and ability to deliver passes with both hands from different angles. She has good quickness and the ability to get into the lane with a nice floater over a taller defender. She can also knock down the open shot from 3-point range.
Sadie Meyer (Land, AR): An athletic 5’9″ 2026 guard who can play fast and likes to attack downhill off the dribble. She will grab the rebound and go coast to coast on the dribble for a layup. She covers a lot of ground with her long strides between dribbles and she either finish well in the lane or pull up and hit the mid range jumper. She also drops some nifty dimes in the transition game. She is also active on the second line of her team’s very effective full court press.
Lexi Ringgold Lexi Ringgold 6'0" | C Nixa | 2026 State MO (Nixa): A 6’0″ 2026 forward who has good agility and can rebound very well out of her area. She used her length on defense to block and alter her share of shots inside. She can score inside effectively and when she gets to her dominant right hand, she is very strong she’s driving to the basket. With her mobility, she can also cover ground on the back line of the full court press.
Brooklynn Mitchell (Harmon, AR): A 5’7″ 2026 guard who has good quickness and a nice burst to beat defenders off the dribble. She is equally effective whether she’s attacking from the left or the right. She has a hesitation move that can also freeze a defender. She is also a good passer who can make the open 3-pointer.
Mikayla Smith Mikayla Smith 5'6" | SG Kickapoo | 2025 State MO (Kickapoo): A 5’6″ 2025 guard who is a nifty passer who can drop dimes with either hand on the move. She’s also very effective on the drive when she’s going left. She really works hard on the defensive end as she moves her feet well and she hawks the ball with her active hands.
Sarah Williams (Mt. Home, AR): A 5’9″ 2025 guard who would come off the bench to provide instant offense with her 3-point shooting. If she got just a little space, she was going to let it fly and she was very good shooting it from downtown. She moved well without the ball to the open spots to make sure she was ready and available to shoot the ball.
Laykin Moore (Mt. Home, AR): A versatile 5’10” 2025 guard with good height and athleticism. She was very good at getting to the basket off the dribble as she can score in the lane, especially with a nice spin move. She can score in traffic as she uses good body control in the lane. She also has a very nice pull up jumper in the mid-range area. She also does a good job at boxing out people when the shot goes up.
Ella Newman (Clever): A 5’4″ 2026 guard who can come off the ball screen well and shoot the jumper from the elbow. She can also knock down the open 3-pointer off the catch. She is also solid on the defensive when where she can hustle for steals and loose balls.
