It’s time to buy stock now in Ms. Blake. Dianna really looks to work from block to block with her back to the basket. She really does a nice job of keeping the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. Blake produces a double-double every night in the box score with her ability to score around the rim and rebound.
She can at times put the ball on the deck for a few dribbles and hit a short corner jumper. Dianna is versatile enough to step out on the perimeter and defend the ball at times. She plays at Ashley Ridge HS in Summerville.
Nesbitt plays the game around the cup as a blue-collar post player. Trinity isn’t flashy with her play but she’s effective with her effort. She brings it as soon as the horn sounds. Trinity will seal down on the block and carve out position with her back to the basket. She really likes to mix it up at times and play the game on contact.
Mickell had a very impressive outing here today vs Charlotte Dream Elite. She was constantly finishing everything inside the paint. Trinity is a strong frames post player who really looks to bully defenders at times down in the paint.
Trinity plays at a small Class 1A program near the Georgia border. Prep Girls Hoops first saw her play as an 8th grader with the Lady Tigers at the Hawks Invitational. Mickell really has nimble footwork around the floor. She really endures being a post player and playing the game physical.
Trinity is going to make some college program look very smart down the road when they grab her off the board.
Nakiyah was playing with KST Academy when the spring Grassroots season started back in late March. She joined forces with Lady Upward Stars 3SSB 2024 after leaving KST Academy. Kelly can step-out and knockdown the face-up jumper. She shows a good skill set on the floor while making some crafty passes here today. Kelly really looks to work staying active away from the ball and working inside to post up.
Nakiyah keeps to be improving on her game and could she be a Stock-Riser in the future here in the 2024 Palmetto State Class?
Hawes really came to play in the opener here today vs WIN Academy. Maddy a left-handed post player was finishing at a high clip around the basket. She understands to play the game in the post and closer to the basket she’s the better.
Maddy will play the game through contact and while getting to the foul line at a good clip. She filled the lane in transition on a few occasions here today on her way to scoring the ball.
Maddy and the rest of these ladies are all just some of the talent in this talented Palmetto State Class of 2024. It’s time to #RecruitThePalmettoState
