Kaison Ward Kaison Ward 6'0" | PF Lawrence County | 2024 State KY is coming off of a pretty remarkable junior season for a LC Bulldogs team that made it to the Sweet 16. She made the 58th district and 15th region all-tournament team while scoring her 1000th career point. Ward impacts the game in many ways she can score from the inside and out and rebound the ball well using her size and strength. But what makes her standout the most is her ability to stretch the floor being a consistent three point shooter she can really knock them down. At The Classic she played really good against 2024 TN Rush she was great on defense, her shots were falling and she passed the ball well always finding the open teammate. Look for her to be a major contributor for Arctic Rush 2024 going forward.
KY Dream Rise went an impressive 4-1 this past weekend at The Classic. The team played with intensity and moved the ball around very well making sure to get everyone an opportunity. Lay Mayes Lay Mayes 5'7" | SG Mayfield | 2026 State KY was a big time contributor with her ability impact the game on offense and defense. Mayes was on fire against Team Huddle Silver hitting shots from deep as well as the mid-range she dropped 16 points and wracked up 4 steals.
Brenley Adler
Brenley Adler
Brenley Adler has nice size, length, and skill playing mostly at the guard position. She plays physical, and gives max effort on both ends of the floor. At The Classic Adler thrived off of transition buckets she also showed that she can hit perimeter jumpers and rebound at a high level. Her best game came against Ohio Fire she had 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 steals. She really enjoys playing for KYP and looks to elevate her game even more as the AAU season goes along.
Izelee Kerns
Izelee Kerns
Izelee Kerns is a name you need to know coming out of Hebron, KY she is a high level scorer and rebounder that is capable of a double-double every time she steps on the floor. Kerns started out hot in the first game against the 2026 OV Dragons-Boggons she put up a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. In the third game against 2026 Cincy Swish Dougoud she dominated the paint scoring a team high 18 points and snagged 8 rebounds.

Watching Amelia Stallard Amelia Stallard 5'8" | CG Notre Dame Academy | 2027 State KY play lets me know that the future of Notre Dame Academy girls basketball is in good hands. Stallard brought her “A” game playing for the ultra talented KYP 14U team that is really starting to come together as a unit. At The Classic this past weekend she worked hard to contribute as much as possible. Whether it was playing aggressive and being a shutdown defender or lighting it up from three with her long range shooting ability. She also did a great job penetrating the lane doing her best to put her teammates in position to score.
Kaia Peterson Kaia Peterson 5'9" | PF Scott | 2025 State KY
Kaia Peterson Kaia Peterson 5'9" | PF Scott | 2025 State KY
Kaia Peterson Kaia Peterson 5'9" | PF Scott | 2025 State KY has made some significant improvements to her game and it showed at The Classic last weekend. She played very hard making hustle plays, going after loose balls, and was aggressive on defense. Peterson had her best game against Midwest Wildcats Morris she stayed in attack mode getting to the rim at will where she either finished inside or kicked it out to an open teammate. She crashed the boards hard as well coming up with several offensive rebounds giving her team second chance scoring opportunities.
Kourtney Peterson
Kourtney Peterson
Kourtney Peterson had her fair share of impressive performances at The Classic last weekend. She did a little bit of everything making an impact on both ends of the floor. I really like her ability to make herself available to score in the low post she gains deep position making it almost impossible for defenders to stop her from scoring inside. She is a very skilled player that can be a threat in the paint and from the perimeter.
