Scott is a fluid athlete with the ability to turn defense into offense. Elite rim protector that can alter shots, create turnovers, and be the focal point in a defensive scheme heading into the Summer Circuit. Runs the floor well, and has high IQ to put herself in good areas on the court for open looks. Evolving her mid-range jumper and post game will be the next steps in development for her senior year. Solid on-ball defender with elite lateral footwork and athleticism to cause problems at the next level.
Cerf is a dynamic guard that looks to push the tempo every time the ball is in her hands. She is an active defender and has a knack for creating turnovers while using her speed and vision to create outlets and push the pace in the fast break. She makes a living shooting on the perimeter with a lightning quick and high release with fluid shot mechanics. Creates her own shot on a dime with a silky smooth patented step back jumper. When she learns how to evolve her game with her creation, she will be a problem. The next phase of her development will be getting more comfortable attacking the paint and the decision making when drawing double teams to kick out to open teammates
Perini is an athletic wing who likes to run the floor and create havoc in transition. High defensive IQ, creates turnovers, plays with a chip on her shoulder with a motor to match. Makes a living finding space on the floor for high quality shots. Fluid shooting mechanics and quick release will help maximize her ability to stretch the floor. Currently as it sits, she’s more of a spot up shooter than shot creator/initiator. Big time opportunity for her heading into the summer circuit.
Taru will look to take the next step in her career during the summer circuit and there is a lot to like about her game. She stands out on the floor in a variety of ways. She’s a legit catch and shoot threat that can stretch the floor. Complete two-way player that likes to get her teammates involved, and the ability to handle the ball and initiate offensive plays at the top of the key. She is a ferocious rebounder on both ends of the floor and likes to play with her back to the basket in the paint. The next step in her evolution will be to develop her ability to create her own shot and pushing the boundaries of her decision-making running and initiating the offense.
Williams is one to watch as she continues her development. She’s one of many versatile athletes on the South Shore roster that won the PSAL Girls Title a couple of months ago. She will look to carve out a bigger role this summer on next year’s team as she moves into a leadership role. There’s a lot to like about William’s game. Her perimeter range isn’t quite there yet, but has nice touch around the top of the key and knack for finishing in the paint. She is a relentless defender and forces you to make tough shots. Sneaky good offensive rebounder too. Has that X-Factor about her.
