As usual, we will have our player of the year selection and six total first team selections from the 2022-23 season.
2022-23 All-NJIC First Team
Erin Fahy Erin Fahy PF Cresskill | 2024 State NJ – Cresskill (2024)
The junior forward had everything working for Cresskill this season, averaging a double double as well as more than a block and steal a game. It was her second-straight season averaging a double-double and overall, in 30 games, she averaged 15.1 PPG and 10.3 RPG, an incredibly impressive season for a player who deserves significantly more attention from college scouts.
Alyssa Craigwell Alyssa Craigwell 5'9" | SF Secaucus | 2024 State NJ – Secaucus (2024) – PGH NJ’s 2022-23 NJIC Player of the Year
This decision felt like a no-brainer from us about who would be the NJIC Player of the Year. It absolutely had to be Craigwell after a truly history-making season for Secaucus. Over 32 games played, she averaged 20 PPG, 9 RPG, 1+ BPG, 3.8 SPG, 1.6 made three-pointers a game and posted 14 double-doubles overall. She set career-highs in a number of categories across the board and was nothing short of spectacular.
Katie Reiner Katie Reiner 5'8" | SG Becton | 2025 State NJ – Becton (2025)
We absolutely could not do an all-conference list without including the sophomore sensation from Becton, to our knowledge, the only player to have hit 100+ three-pointers last season. Reiner is the epitome of what three-point shooting is, and she hit nearly four a game, accounting for roughly 60 percent of her overall scoring numbers, averaging 20.8 PPG in 27 games. That also includes more than a block a game, 2.2 APG and 1.7 SPG.
Ella Marchesani Ella Marchesani 5'7" | SG Saddle Brook | 2023 State NJ – Saddle Brook (2023)
Leading the charge for the best team in the American division was Marchesani, an incredible three-point shooter and a player that used her physicality and creativity on the court to get to the foul line quite often, with roughly 20 percent of her scoring coming from the charity stripe. She averaged 22.6 PPG in 26 games, one of several players in the NJIC to average 20+ PPG on the season, and hit 60 three-pointers, 2.3 a game on average.
Allie Shenloogian Allie Shenloogian 5'7" | CG Park Ridge | 2025 State NJ – Park Ridge (2025)
We had to include Shenloogian off her impressive scoring prowess alone, and wow oh wow did she put on some displays on the court as a sophomore. She had 19 games with 20+ points, averaging 21.1 PPG, which accounted for more than half of Park Ridge’s scoring last season. Combine that with 4.9 RPG, 3.1 APG, and just under four steals a game and you have one of the most complete guards in New Jersey.
Faith Williamson Faith Williamson 5'8" | PG Saddle River Day | 2025 State NJ – Saddle River Day (2025)
Consistency is the name of the game with Williamson, and she was able to build off an impressive freshman season with Saddle River Day by having an even better offensive performance as a sophomore. Her three-point shooting stands out the most, knocking down 2.9 threes a game as she averaged a career-high 13.8 PPG. Let us not forget 3.8 RPG, 2.0 APG and 1.7 SPG averages from her in her best season to date for the Colonial Rebels.
