The 2022-23 High School season has concluded and the 2023 travel season is in full effect. Coming off of the first live evaluation period in April, the spring offers are piling up for many of Florida’s top prospects. In part 2 of spring scholarship offers, let’s take a look who has picked up offers in the class of 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.
CLASS OF 2023 COMMITMENT / SIGNING NEWS
Jordan Race Jordan Race 5'11" | SF King's Academy | 2023 State FL (King’s Academy) 5’11 Wing
Race, after leading King’s Academy to a final four and a trip to Lakeland in February, has verbally committed to Southern Wesleyan University. Southern Wesleyan competes in the highly competitive Conference Carolinas, an NCAA D2 conference. At 5’11, Race is a versatile wing that can stroke it from deep, plays with a high basketball IQ and has good court vision.
Yakiya Milton Yakiya Milton 6'4" | PF Mandarin | 2024 FL (Mandarin HS / South East United Clarke) 6’4 Wing
As we mentioned last week, Milton was one of the hot names from the April eval period. She was the highest ranked player in the class of 2023 that had yet to commit. After picking up offers from Jacksonville, Memphis and Auburn, Milton quickly visited Auburn in Auburn, AL and shortly after committed. The 6’4 wing has a ton of potential and is a major diamond in the rough that should she prosper in a player development and strength and conditioning program could be a major steal in the late signing period.
Tatiyana “Ace” Sturdivant (Clearwater HS) 5’9 Guard
Tatiyana Sturdivant, who more often goes by Ace, has committed to The College of Wooster in Wooster, OH. The D3 college competes in the extremely competitive North Coast Atlantic Conference. Sturdivant was one of the top players in the class of 2023 who had yet to make a decision on her athletic and academic endeavors for next season. She averaged 14.6 points per game and helped lead Clearwater HS to a final four appearance in Lakeland.
Class of 2024
Clare Coyle Clare Coyle 6'1" | PF Bishop Kenny | 2024 State FL (Bishop Kenny / East Coast United) 6’1 Guard / Wing
Offers: North Florida, College of Charleston, George Washington
Coyle is one of the most well rounded and skilled offensive players in the class of 2024. She was a huge part of Bishop Kenny’s stellar 2022-23 high school season leading the team in rebounding (9.2 rebounds per game), field goal percentage (58%) and was second on the team in scoring (10.9 points per game). At 6’1, Coyle can see the floor over the top of defenses, making easy passes for layups or throwing over the top of defender’s vs pressure. Her height also allows her to get her shot off elevating over the top of defenders as well as finishing in the paint.
Sydney Roundtree Sydney Roundtree 6'0" | PF Bishop Kenny | 2024 State FL (Bishop Kenny / East Coast United) 6’0 Guard
Offers: George Washington
Roundtree picks up an A-10 offer from George Washington. The 6’0 guard / wing is a high-volume shooter with deep range and a versatile skill set. She has the ability to fill up the nets from beyond the 3-point line, off the bounce, and at the rim. Her combo of size and strength stand out on the court as her body is more mature than most of her competition. Her ability to score in bunches gives her a major upside.
Channing Warren Channing Warren 6'3" | C Timber Creek | 2024 State FL (Timber Creek / FGB) 6’2 Forward
Offers: Florida International, Elon, USF, FAU, George Mason, Lipscomb, Loyola, Furman, Eastern Michigan, South Alabama
Warren is considered one of the top post prospects in the class of 2024. She is an inside out post player that can score with her back to the basket and can stretch it out to 15 feet from the high post. Warren moves well, often outrunning her opponents in transition and is impactful on both ends of the floor when she controls the paint.
Raeanne Eccleston Raeanne Eccleston 6'2" | PF Colonial HS | 2024 State FL (Colonial / CFE Grant Hill 17U) 6’2 Forward / Center
Offers: South Carolina State
Eccleston is long, athletic, and versatile and one of the top post prospects in class of 2024. Her wingspan is impressive, and she uses it well to get her hands on a lot of balls and block, tip, and deflect on the defensive end. Post players are hard to come by in Florida and the southeast, and with Eccleston skill set and production continuing to grow, she will continue to pick up more offers and be a stock riser!
Bri Rivera (Lake Highland Prep / J Sizzles) 5’8 Guard
Rivera was featured last week with offers from James Madison, Southern Miss, and Elon. She picks up an offer from Robert Morris this week.
Lena Girardi Lena Girardi 5'10" | SG IMG Academy | 2025 State FL (Westminster Academy / FGB) 5’9 Guard
Girardi was featured last week with offers from Auburn, Michigan, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, USF, Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, and St Johns. She adds Illinois and Clemson to her long list of offers that will only continue to grow with her stellar play!
Sienna Dauer Sienna Dauer 5'10" | CG IMG Academy | 2024 State FL (IMG Academy / FGB) 5’11 Guard
Dauer was featured last week with offers from Middle Tennessee, Navy, and Bellarmine. She also picks up an offer from Hofstra this week.
