Led by former Hornet and Florida Gator Alum Jennifer George. The event hosted 30 of the top players in Central Florida and beyond. Here is the third part of the evaluation of players from the event.
Maylei Noreika 2024 5’10” PF Lake Mary/Team Duupree
Noreika, the Lake Mary forward that recently moved from up north. Showed a nice touch while shooting, capitalizing on her opportunities and open shots. A player with a strong frame and quick feet. She moves well and gets to the right defensive spot to stop her opponent. Also, a strong rebounder that gets after it.
Nina Green Nina Green 5'6" | PG Wharton | 2024 State FL 2024 5’6″ SG Brooks DeBartolo/FGB
The Tampa native came to Orlando to show out. A crafty player that plays with passion, and it shows. She can attack the basket with either hand finishing with either hand. A soft touch on her jump shot and shows nice range outside of the three-point line. A soft-spoken kid that plays with a high level of toughness.
Victoria Zaremba 2025 5’8″ SG Bishop Moore
Another outstanding point guard that attended this event. Zeremba was driving to the basket and taking open shots throughout the event. She was active on defense, making good, smart plays. She should have a big impact for the Hornets this upcoming Winter.
Jordan Kosoy Jordan Kosoy 5'7" | PG Cardinal Gibbons | 2024 State FL 2024 5’6″ PG Cardinal Gibbons/GNation
A feisty Point Guard that plays with high energy and never ending tenacity. The South Florida native showed a high level of confidence and poise while having the ball in her hand. She was making on target, on time passes to her teammates to get them a good look. She should have a great summer with G-Nation.
Reina Labor Reina Labor 5'8" | SF Hillsborough | 2023 State FL 2023 5’7″ SG Jefferson High School
The Senior Guard demonstrated a high level of basketball IQ and creativity. Getting to the basket, finishing through the contact capitalizing on her opportunities. Labor was able to catch and shoot in transition and in the half court set. The 2023 Jefferson High Lady Dragon was all over the floor, playing with a high energy level, along with a high level of stamina.
