These athletes know how to play at a high level, and they are certain to give you some great performances this summer. Let’s take a look at some of the new forwards that were added to the list.
Khloe Miller Khloe Miller 6’2″ | SF NC GBB | 2024 State NC moves seamlessly all over the court finding the open lanes to take advantage and get some points. She can stretch the floor knocking down shots from deep, and she shows off some nice footwork in the paint getting two points. Her length is an asset on defense, too, being able to block shots and deflect passes with ease. She is sure to battle on both ends of the court getting some rebounds.
Michaela Hodge Michaela Hodge 6’3″ | SF Northampton County | 2024 State NC is definitely a powerful player in the paint. She knows how to seal off her opponents, catch the entry pass, and go to work scoring her points. Her power dribbles are certainly effective as she gets the position she wants and goes up for her shot. She uses that strength around the rim cleaning up the glass on offense, and she knows exactly how to get a play going off a defensive rebound.
Isabella Pease Isabella Pease 6’0″ | SF Apex | 2024 NC does a nice job standing at the free throw line, getting the pass, and knowing exactly what to do with the ball. She can attack the gaps drawing defenders towards her and make the kick out to her teammate. She can also pull up for her own shot, or take the ball all the way to the hoop to score her own points. On defense, she does a nice job getting her hands up and in the way of her opponents catching the pass.
You can certainly tell Motunrayo Balogun Motunrayo Balogun 6’0″ | C Leesville Road | 2024 NC has been putting in the work being able to battle on the court against anyone who tries to guard her. She has a good feel for the ball around the rim, and she knows how to make cuts to get open. She uses her size and strength to clear out the area in front of her to get the pass or rebound, and she crashes the boards on both ends of the court.
Ava Whisnant Ava Whisnant 6’1″ | C Freedom | 2024 NC uses her length to go up and over her opponents being able to reach the rebounds before they have a chance. Her hands seem to be a magnet to the ball on defense crashing the boards and blocking shots. On the other end, she has some nice finesse with her post moves finding ways to shoot over her opponents and score some points.
Highlights
It seems as if Carolina Robinson Carolina Robinson 6’1″ | SF West Lincoln | 2024 NC feels her opponents stance perfectly when power dribbling them down to the position she wants them in. Then, she takes full advantage of being able to get around them to score some points. She can start with her back to the basket being ready to show off her post moves, or she can shoot the jumper from the free throw line off the pass.
Kendyll Moore Kendyll Moore 6’0″ | SF Lake Norman | 2024 NC is very athletic running the court with ease being ready for the pass and bucket in transition. She knows how to go up high catching the pass and protecting the possession even with defenders close by. She’s someone who will do it all for her team handling the ball and creating her own plays. She’s quick, too, being able to jump in the passing lanes coming up with some steals.
