Jalayah Ray Jalayah Ray 5’7″ | CG Central Cabarrus | 2024 NC always keeps her eyes on the hoop knowing how to get some points. She can attack the basket putting up some nice floaters, and she can be ready to shoot around the perimeter. Her hesitation moves are sure to get her defender off balance as she pushes the tempo filling a lane with her handles and scoring on the other end. She has a nice touch off the glass banking in shots from any angle.
Hannah Ajayi Hannah Ajayi 5’8″ | CG Seaforth | 2024 NC sees the floor well knowing how to attack the gaps and find the openings to get her points. She creates her own space putting up her shots elevating over her defenders. She follows shots getting inside on both ends for the rebound, and she stays ready to put the shot back up on the offensive side of the ball. She certainly has some range on her shot, too, being able to knock shots down from deep.
Kari Lee Kari Lee 5’5″ | PG Crest | 2024 NC is a dynamic ball handler knowing how to move and make adjustments to get the pass into her teammates on the block. She can make some nice shot fakes getting around her defenders for the pass or to make her own points. Her ability to attack the basket and roll the ball off her fingertips is sure to get some points. On defense, she is tough stripping the ball from her opponents and pushing these steals right up the court.
Sadie Badgett Sadie Badgett 5’9″ | PG North Surry | 2024 NC is a no nonsense kind of player driving hard downhill getting to the rim and finishing on both sides. It seems automatic the way she can catch an offensive rebound and put it right back up for some points. She can knock down shots around the perimeter, too. She does a nice job making plays for her teammates being able to get the perfect pass to them to score some points. On defense, she is sure to grab the steal and take it the other direction.
Kenzie Ross Kenzie Ross 5’8″ | SG Lincoln Charter | 2024 NC is definitely a knockdown shooter showing off her stroke from anywhere around the perimeter. She moves well without the ball being ready for the pass and shot. She makes some nice passes to her teammates for them to get some of their own points. One thing that really shows how she is “more than meets the eye” is her ability to block shots from anyone as if her hand is a magnet for the ball on defense.
Azaria Scott Azaria Scott 5’3″ | PG Greensboro Day School | 2025 NC sells her ball fakes with her handles and her eyes as she gets past opponents and to the basket. As the floor general, she leads the charge getting the entry pass to her teammates on the block, and she knows how to move with the ball to make adjustments and smarter passes all over the court. She can score herself knowing when to pull up for her a shot or attack all the way.
