I had no idea Montverde Academy wasn’t in Texas so I deleted #2 Vivian Iwuccukwu and that moved Arianna Roberson Arianna Roberson 6'4" | C SA Clark | 2024 State TX (SA Clark) up to the second spot in the recent UPDATE, #8 Mariah Clayton Mariah Clayton 6'0" | SF Duncanville | 2024 State TX (Duncanville) and #11 Kiyleyah Parr Kiyleyah Parr 5'5" | CG La Vega | 2024 State TX (LaVega) are also listed in that Stock Riser article.
#3 Adhel Tac Adhel Tac 6'4" | C South Grand Prairie | 2024 State TX (South Grand Prairie) is out with an injury, I’m not adjusting her down and I’m also not moving #9 Londyn Oliphant Londyn Oliphant 5'6" | PG Sachse | 2024 State TX (Sasche) who is back and ready for whatever just like she has shown over the years, well since middle school, that she was legit but so many others fall into early sighting like #10 Kennedy Evans Kennedy Evans 5'11" | SG Legion Prep Academy | 2024 State TX (Legion Prep Academy) who has already committed to Oklahoma State
I also missed #1 Justice Carlton Justice Carlton 6'1" | PF Seven Lakes | 2024 State TX (Seven Lakes) as she was representing something earlier in this season when her team was in a tournament yet her dominance via Livestream during the playoffs had me smiling, she was on my radar before but her club coach was trying to hide her and not turn in a roster, you can’t hide TALENT like that for long
#4 Ma’Riya Vincent Ma’Riya Vincent 6'0" | SF Cy Springs | 2024 State TX showed promise as a 7th grader yet her game has just taken off, she can play multiple positions on the court yet her college-ready frame enables her to battle taller opponents in the paint for rebounds but her jumper is fluid and consistent as she drops it while being defended
#5 Kendall Sneed Kendall Sneed 5'7" | CG Hardin Jefferson | 2024 State TX (Hardin Jefferson) came to #AllEyezOnMe Showcase in the 6th grade and got the #D1Lock dropped on her by yours truly, I’m just that good yet she has become even better every season. Yes, she can run a team, control the tempo, and makes those around her better, plus she can drop the mid to long-range with ease. I’m even more impressed with the leadership role she took on in high school after the graduation of Ashlon Jackson (Duke)
#6 Kendall Robinson Kendall Robinson 5'9" | SG North Crowley | 2024 State TX (North Crowley) is another player I called a #D1Lock before her first middle school game, when I say #ThereIsNoMe, I mean it so her overpowering smaller guards off the dribble, even posting them up has been something to see yet watching her turn into a legitimate D1 PG has also been a joy to watch. She is unselfish and gets teammates involved yet in a blink of an eye, she can take over games just like that
#7 Ashna Tambe Ashna Tambe 5'7" | CG Hockaday | 2024 State TX (Hockaday) jumped on my radar by accident as her then-club coach sent me a list of players he had to come and catch, yet she was the only one that fell into my glove because it doesn’t take me long to know what I’m looking at. Her “poise under pressure” “court vision” and “handling the ball while being defended” sold me because the game starts at the 1. Her jumper was improved every season, mid to long-range as well as attacking off the dribble, showing solid body control after the lick on her finishes is why over 20 D1 offers are on the table
#12 Chloe Mann Chloe Mann 5'8" | SG Duncanville | 2024 State TX (Duncanville) has been a special player from day one, yes before her first middle school game. She’s a “long and athletic” guard that didn’t settle on how good she was. At first, it was primarily blowing by defenders to score, she still does that yet her explosiveness is better, and so are acrobatic finishes after contact. Mid to long-range, check and double-check, solid on the ball defense and she plays the passing lane. Recently changed club teams and completely blew up
