Christina is shifty off the bounce and when she gets to the rim, she gets the ball up on the glass quickly with a variety of creative finishes and gets two feet in the lane in traffic. She uses ball fakes and jab steps to keep defenders off balance. She is a lights out shooter from 3 and her quick release makes it tough to close out in time. That quick release is a huge asset that is continually shown off in an impressive pull up game for the Shoreshots 2025 squad. She willingly attacks the glass. Christina gets out quick in transition. When she gets out ahead, she fills lanes, or she runs to spots for transition 3s. She had 10 games with multiple 3s for Red Bank Catholic as a sophomore and her summer AAU season is showing off her talents all over the court.
Gianna is instant offense and absolutely deadly from beyond the arc. She had 14 games with 3 or more triples in her sophomore year at St. Thomas Aquinas and finished with 86 on the season. She has carried that confidence right into the AAU season and showing it off for Team Sharp. She is scoring on multiple levels this summer but, in my opinion, Gianna is best at getting into her pull up jumpers or step backs off the bounce. She uses her downhill speed to get defenders on their heels and uses that momentum to create space for her shots. She likes to push tempo and when she drives the lane, she distributes the ball to open teammates for easy buckets.
Highlights
Simone is a multi-dimensional guard for Team Sharp. She can shoot it from deep and makes great decisions when she gets in the lane. She had 15 games with multiple 3s in her junior year at Notre Dame HS. She is a great ball handler and has no problem beating pressure in the backcourt with quick confident change of direction. Her head is always up and she is always looking ahead in transition. Simone is a very aggressive defender in the backcourt and in defensively in transition she will do whatever it takes to disrupt the opposing teams fastbreak.
Delaney Bogdan
Delaney Bogdan
Delaney is a tough hard working basketball player for the United 17u Diamond team. Defensively, she is always working to stay in front of the ball and make the opposing offense uncomfortable. She works hard on pick and roll defense and is always looking to get steals and deflections. Offensively she is looking to either get downhill to the rim or get to a spot for a catch and shoot and she is equally adept at both. Delaney uses a good jab step to get defenders leaning and create space for her to get downhill. She always plays within herself and takes what the game gives her offensively while working to turn the game upside down defensively as she prepares for her senior year at Mendham HS.
