Audrey Richardson-6’0
Richardson is “long and athletic” which I call the base and her upside is HUGE because she stands at “the magic number” scores off the dribble and has a very nice pull-up jumper which she elevates to get it off. She even showed me the “turnaround” jumper on the block, follows her shot and when you factor in she rebounds and handles the ball afterward as well as playing defense, I can’t wait
ByLee Craddick-5’7
Craddick immediately showed me she could create her shot and knocked it down from mid to long-range with a hand in her face. I loved the step back as well as the “catch and shoot” but watching her score off the dribble, the first step is nice. and show solid body control will make her hard to contain, yet on the flip, she has quick hands and came away with steals plus did a good job defending “on the ball”
Lexi Glenn-5’6
Glenn falls into that “you won’t outwork me” category I love to talk about, not just because it’s #THROWBACK, it;’s because she creates havoc which leads to the opposing team turning the ball over. She follows her shot and does a good job creating her shot to attack, her deceptive first step gets the defender off balance, and she can drain the jumper from outside but her “change of pace” in the open court was nice
Avery DeMars-5’5
Demars mixed it up offensively nicely as she also showed the change of pace in the open court, acronym COP because you need to call the law as she mixed that up to either score off the dribble, finished after contact, or create her shot outside, the jumper was more than solid and over the top when she dropped using the step back. Her defense in the set, as well as in transition was also nice, and she saw the floor
Katelyn Olds-5’10
Olds showed me she could defend off the top, either inside the paint or outside of it, and watching her lateral movement in the open court guarding her man had me smiling. She hit the boards on both ends and plays taller than she is, but she creates her shot, her first stop is very nice and so are her finishes yet she can drop the jumper while being defended. She also had me smiling with the banker, loved that, along with her “playing the passing lane” yet her timing needs to be mentioned as she blocked shots with ease
Marlee Milam-5’8
Milam not only handled the ball under pressure but saw the floor under pressure. Her passes were crisp and on the money yet she also scored off the dribble, well dished attacking the basket as well, and watching her not only create her shot, again, under pressure and knock it down from mid to long-range was nice, she even showed the step back.
Drew Griffin Drew Griffin 5'10" | CG Round Rock | 2027 TX -5’10
Griffin and her acrobatic finishes had me smiling numerous times because her body control is ahead of her years yet her concentration was equally impressive as she stayed with “IT” after the lick. She also created her shot and dropped the jumper in the set as well as in transition and I’m talking mid to long-range in both. Solid court vision also
Alli Maley-6’1
Maley is long and athletic and guess what, that is still the base so watching her play the passing lane was one thing, and rebounds on both ends was another, her “timing” was among the best I saw not only that Friday but at the event on the weekend. Love her upside, she plays within herself and scores around the basket yet she can drop it facing the basket. Interior defense was also nice
Crislyn Anthony-5’9
Anthony is powerful, and so is her frame, she understands some very important things, like positioning and this helps enable her to outrebound taller players, yes on both ends. She runs the floor, goes after loose balls, defends strongly, and ties up the ball and she also scored around the basket as well as on putbacks
