The players below are a mixture of athletes who were ranked prior to this update and athletes who were not, the common factor between everyone being that they are all Stock-Risers with promising futures on the basketball court looking forward. Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
Emily Larsen Emily Larsen 5’11” | SF Cedar Rapids Prairie | 2026 State IA headlines our 2026 class of Stock-Risers in the state of Iowa. Larsen, who was ranked in the mid-twenty’s last update, has shown time and time again that she deserves to be closer to the Top 10 more than anything else. Larsen stands with good size and muscle mass around 5’11, with a good amount of skill to go along with all of that. She does a fantastic job working from inside to out when she is on the floor with her ability to move positions. Depending on the program, Larsen could play a 3 consistently, giving whatever team that is some serious length when you consider in this situation the 4 and the 5 would be taller than herself. This mixture of size and versatility are going too far well for Larsen looking toward the future. She is a Swiss army knife type player who can get almost any task done that is given to her by her coaches. Some really promising stuff.

Izzy Eisbach Izzy Eisbach 5’9″ | SG Nodaway Valley | 2026 State IA only moves up one spot in this update from #12 to #11 but considering how close she is to the Top 10, it’s no easy task to move up spots on the regular. Eisbach is an interesting prospect and a name to know. She is a diverse scorer when the ball is in her hands with the ability to run the point guard position or the shooting guard position. When you see Esibach on the court you can tell that she has it “put together” more than other guards of alike age and size. Overall, she is a leader that any program would love to have on their team. She is always bringing a positive attitude to the floor while also bringing the energy. I’m interested where she is going to end up after her high school career but if she stays dedicated, it’s going to be to somewhere very well-known and successful as a program.

Brynlie Hadenfeldt was ranked at #9 prior to this Players Rankings Update. In this update though Hadenfeldt moves up to the #6 spot because of her consistent play to end the high school season and her ability to ride that momentum right into her spring AAU sessions with her Lady Martin Bros team. Just like Emily Larsen Emily Larsen 5’11” | SF Cedar Rapids Prairie | 2026 State IA who is listed above, Hadenfeldt is of good size at around 5’11 with a skill-set that is a mix between a guard and a forward. She has the ability to post with her back to the basket and make an efficient finish, she can put the ball on the floor and beat her defender off of the dribble, or she can square up and hit a jump shot from a number of spots on the floor when given adequate time. Her mixture of size and skill is what sets Brynlie apart from most her age. When you combine these things you get a player that could really produce on a college floor one day once she finds the right fit.

Claire Turner Claire Turner 5’8″ | PG Spirit Lake | 2026 State IA comes off of the Wait List and joins us in this rankings update at #28. Turner, a fundamental and consistent point guard, has put together a spring to remember. She is controlling the tempo and pace of her games, getting her teammates set up in the right spots, scoring when she sees an open opportunity to, and most importantly is setting up the players around her to be successful with her assists. When you look at this from a college coaching perspective, I know most coaches out there want a point guard like this in their own program. A player that you can put in the game and you know what you are going to get. A player that you can trust when it matters the most, that’s Turner. Keep an eye out for her this summer with her Spirit Lake high school team, leading into the school year. She is going to have another season to remember if she keeps up the trajectory she is currently on.
Kreighton Peck Kreighton Peck 5’6″ | CG East Buchanan | 2026 State IA goes from being on the Wait List to #35 in this Players Rankings Update. Peck, a 5’7 combo guard, is another player out of this group that has a diverse game. She is a player who can move between the 1 or the 2 position depending what is asked of her by her coaches. I would say that her best ability is scoring the ball or creating for others off of the dribble. For her size she holds her own defensively and when it comes to rebounding she is not afraid of physicality or getting into it with bigger players. Some thing that speaks to her tenaciousness and dedication when it comes to the game of basketball. With a good summer season leading into the fall you could expect Peck to continue up this list, but only time will tell.
