Newly appointed coach at Potomac high school Krystal Ferguson is slowly building a good AAU program in a competitive market in northern Virginia. Building from the ground up with a mix of veteran talent, young players, and good role players that can fit on any division 2 or 3 roster! This formula of consistent growth can make this program sustainable for years to come!
Impact Players
Fresh off a James Madison 3 peat state title Stella has carried that momentum into AAU! Strappy two way player that can do it all on the floor, she not only gets you ten points she will probably get you ten rebounds as well! Selfless player that competes at a high level. A crafty player that can get downhill in a hurry to the basket is looking to have a big July with just picking up an offer from Loyola this spring!
Anya is a knockdown shooter from the perimeter, and can put up numbers when she heats up! She can extend her range from deep behind the three point line. With her combo guard skills she can knock down shots off the dribble. Only a sophomore playing on the 17U level I’m sure she will turn coaches’ heads this July!
Highlights
Intriguing Players
At 5’11 another two-way prospect with the size to score on all three levels. Can probably play that point forward role with her guard skills if she handles the ball from the perimeter. Simone size allows her to match up with multiple positions on the defensive end in a zone or man to man using her size and length to disrupt opposing players. An all district performer who scored 19 points a game in high school she looks to hit the ground running this last live period.
Highlights
The future is now! Sabrina is a good piece this program can build on in the near future. This rising 9th grader again coaches is a part of the deep 2027 class in the state of Virginia! A smooth player good release on her jumper that plays within the framework of the team. When she does get run off the line she has the ability of putting the ball on the floor and getting downhill towards the basket. Skills set and upside is through the roof, already with a D-1 offer under her belt with four years of high school left…watch out!
