Maddi Cooper
Madi was the leading scorer at 12 points a game last season, she also led the team in steals and assists. She was a steady prescence wit her high basketball IQ and ball handling at the point guard position. She is one of three mentioned here that is back to improve on the regional round appearance last season. She is the engine that makes the team run.

Emmy is a shooter. She made a school record 69 threes last season. A perfect compliment to Cooper on the perimeter. She was A 2nd team NWC pick last season. Both these guards play with a lot of energy and toughness. Sehome could be a team to watch in the post-season next year. They also return Natalie Brewer who can play on the perimeter or inside. She was third on the team with 9 points per game.

Helped Neah Bay to 1B state championship last season as the point guard and team leader. I watched the game and was impressed with her leadership skills and all around toughness. She was vocal about what needed to be done. She leads by example as well. She averaged 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists on the season.

The other half of the returning backcourt for Neah Bay. She was the second leading scorer at just over 12 points a game. Just like her teammate, she plays tough and gets baskets indisde and out. Neither shot a lot of threes, which worked tournament MVP Allie Greene making 98 of them. She is gone to graduation but the other two will be looking for back to back titles.

The junior to be has plenty of experience as a varsity player on a very young team the past few years. She is the leading scorer and had 23 points in the opening round loss at the 2B state tournament vs Okanogan. Mabton has plenty of young and talented players.
