Sabine Brueck Sabine Brueck 5'8" | CG North Country Union | 2025 State New E , 5’8 G – Lone Wolf Athletics
One of the best two-way players in the 802 regardless of class, Sabine is electric. Brueck’s defense is aggressive yet measured. She doesn’t take chances, but rather applies constant pressure and gets in passing lanes, wearing down opponents. Plus, she’s always on the floor for 50/50s and jostling for boards. And if she gets a break in transition, she’s finishing as she taps into her extra gear. Moreover, Sabine is a poised ballhandler and off-ball mover who slashes with intention, knocks down open shots, and makes the basketball play. Sabine is a swiss-army knife with star impact.
Bree McDonald Bree McDonald 5'6" | PG Burlington | 2025 State New E , 5’6 G – Blueprint Basketball
A scoring PG, Bree is a flat-out bucket-getter. McDonald can get after it at any level on the floor, whether she’s creating it off the bounce or getting there off the catch. Additionally, she sees cutters exploit gaps and makes timely feeds, especially when the defense is preoccupied with her scoring. As a defender Bree holds it down on-ball and can surprise ballhandlers with a couple rips. McDonald’s impact is clear from the jump.
Lauren Vaughan Lauren Vaughan 6'1" | PF Champlain Valley | 2025 State New E , 6’1 F – Lone Wolf Athletics
The combination of length, footwork, and versatility speaks for itself. Vaughan defends multiple positions with her inside/out ability. She’s able to protect the rim and clean the glass naturally. Yet she can also step out to the perimeter, defend the wing, switch the pnr, and give opponents fits. And on the offensive end, Lauren has shown nice feel. Her cuts are purposeful and calculated. Once in the post, she has a couple moves to turn and finish and her jumper is extending. Keep tabs!
Macie Stagner Macie Stagner 5'7" | CG Springfield | 2025 State New E , 5’8 G – Lone Wolf Athletics
An all-around player, Macie brings a heady and aggressive approach to the PG. Stagner’s ability to break down defenses with her playmaking forces the opponent to send a ton of attention her way. She’s growing into a 3-level scorer with her mid-range coming along, and her vision provides ample scoring opportunities for others. Furthermore, she brings it defensively. She’s a high-IQ defender with smart rotations and anticipation, plus she hits the glass as well. Stagner’s high-level development is no surprise.
Nuala Connolly Nuala Connolly 5'9" | SG Proctor | 2025 State New E , 5’10 G/W – NE Crusaders
A sizable guard with the skills + IQ to cut defenses up, Connolly makes it look easy. Nuala scores it all 3-levels with efficient footwork and smart off-ball movement. She’s ready to shoot when the ball arrives, and her one-dribble pull-up is locked in. Moreover, her playmaking within the second layer is flush with savvy interior passing and the court awareness to make feeds ahead of the defensive rotation. Defensively, she brings that same wit. Nuala disrupts offenses both on the ball and off, and her understanding of rotations is clear. So solid.
Sophia Rockwood Sophia Rockwood 5'7" | CG Windsor | 2025 State New E , 5’7 G – Lone Wolf Athletics
Rockwood brings it in every facet of the game. Sophia is a hardnosed two-way player with poised playmaking and toughness on the defensive end. Her scoring package includes a knockdown jumper and a mid-range that’s beginning to fruit. In addition, she gets into the second layer often and her playmaking within there allows the offense to flourish. On the other end, she digs in against ballhandlers and plays the passing lanes quite well. An added boost is that she can rebound from the guard position and push the break immediately. Sophia is a gamer.
