Rachel Vasey Rachel Vasey 6'0" | C Bear Creek | 2025 State CO – Bear Creek – 2025
Vasey is another intriguing up and coming forward with this Bear Creek group, standing right around 6′ tall. She was a sturdy interior defender, her presence alone mitigated a variety of drives given her notable height and strength. As well, Vasey was active on the defensive glass, roaming around to secure the rebound. She did well keeping at least one, if not both arms up on contests, crowding the opponent on shot attempts. Vasey shows upside as a spot-up shooter inside the arc, possessing a high arc on those shot attempts, especially tough to block. Her continued growth on the offensive end will be worth tracking, potentially being one of Bear Creek’s most assertive two-way prospects.
Alyxa King-Greenwalt Alyxa King-Greenwalt C Robertson | 2025 State NM – Robertson (NM)
King-Greenwalt will be an intriguing power forward joining Robertson as an incoming junior. Standing no less than 5’11, she has shown flashes with her jump shot, stepping into short mid-range pull-ups before the opponent has time to block the shot. King-Greenwalt brings passing vision from the elbows or top of the key, picking apart the zone or quickly reacting to cutters should the opponent match up instead. At her height, King-Greenwalt can see above the defense and pass over the top of immediate defenders. With growth as a shooter and higher volume passing from the top, King-Greenwalt shows collegiate upside.
Ava Freund – Bear Creek – 2024
Freund found ways to be impactful without the ball, hitting a few three point jumpers off the catch and being aggressive on help defense. Throughout her matches, Freund knocked down multiple three point attempts off the catch, proving confident from the wings. Her role as a floor spacer kept opposing defenses honest, tending to pull over the weak side defense towards the ball, allowing for greater opportunities for skip passes.
Olivia Kan Olivia Kan 5'6" | CG Bear Creek | 2025 State CO – Bear Creek – 2025
Kan brought steady playmaking for Bear Creek, doing well at mitigating turnovers and being proactive with the ball in her hands. The incoming junior commanded a large role last season with Bear Creek. Through this event, Kan was notable for her defensive instincts, picking off skip passes and full court attempts. She did well reading the floor on that end, being in position early to stunt those drives. At roughly 5’8, Kan was effective at defending backcourt opponents at the point of attack, keeping arms out wide and communicating on screens if a disadvantage approached.
Alexis Pacheco Alexis Pacheco 5'4" | PG West Las Vegas | 2025 State NM – Robertson (NM) – 2025
Pacheco did especially well at handling pressure, but pushing the pace through traffic. The incoming junior is an aggressive lead ball handler, providing constant pressure as a shotmaker. Either stepping into the three point jumper or attacking the closeout, Pacheco finds ways to make the defense react. Her ability to handle it through traps or tight pressure was especially intriguing, given her ability to make proactive decisions out of these opportunities. As well, Pacheco held her own at the point of attack, proving quick enough laterally to instigate opposing lead ball handlers.
