Claire Meudt Claire Meudt 5'10" | SF Waunakee | 2024 State WI
The Meudt family has plenty of good players coming through, and Claire is the latest. The rising senior stepped up significantly last season at Waunakee after some talented kids in the class of 2022 graduated. Meudt scored the ball from all over the floor in her junior season, leading her Warriors team to a better season than most could’ve expected. I believe in her scoring and physicality playing well at the small-school level.
Reese Jaramillo Reese Jaramillo 5'9" | SG Prairie | 2024 State WI
What I like most about Jaramillo’s overall game is that she can mold her game to fit whatever her team needs of her. She can defend on the perimeter, make shots down the stretch of games, handle the ball, make free throws to close games out, and is someone coaches will trust on the floor. I’m not sure what all she has on the table, but she could be someone who finds a role sooner rather than later at the next level.
You won’t find many kids with the profile that Jensen does at small schools that often. Jensen can win a game for a team with her offense alone. If she gets into a rhythm, there isn’t much defenses can do to slow her down. Jensen’s too long, quick, and skilled for most defenders at that level. If she reaches her ceiling at the next level, she could cause problems for defenses for all 40 minutes of a game. Depending on where Jensen ends up, she could be the most talented person in the gym when she steps on campus, which tells you how highly I think of her and how productive she could be.
Erin Knowles Erin Knowles 6'1" | CG Boscobel | 2024 State WI
Although she isn’t playing AAU basketball, Knowles is one of the kids I have my eyes on most for the rest of the 2024 recruiting cycle. She’s a 6-1 kid who can handle the ball and initiate offense if you want her to. Knowles has a lot of versatility for a small-school kid. She’s someone who could be a diamond in the rough. I don’t know what she has, but if she played AAU, she’d have plenty of options to play at the next level if she chose to take that route.
