Mikayla Pilley Mikayla Pilley 5'10" | SG Kickapoo | 2025 State MO (Oklahoma Swift): The 5’10” guard from Kickapoo impacts the game in a variety of ways with her tremendous versatility and high basketball IQ. She displayed excellent playmaking ability as she was dropping dimes to open teammates from virtually anywhere on the court. She can see over the defense with her height. She is also difficult to defend because she has many ways to get a bucket. She can hit 3-pointers off the catch and come off screens to hit mid range jumpers. She can also score around the basket off of her good cutting ability.

Lanicia Parker (Earl Watson Academy): A 5’10” guard from Winnetonka who was one of the most active players that I watched during my stay in Louisville. She has excellent athleticism and a high motor, which enabled her to impact play at both ends of the court. She had a quick first step to beat defenders on the drive and she also attacked the offensive boards well with her quick second jump. She was also disruptive at the top of her team’s full court press with her length and constant activity.

Peyton Hill Peyton Hill 5'10" | SG Incarnate Word Academy | 2025 State MO (Napheesa Collier Elite 17U Olufson): The 5’10” guard from Incarnate Word Academy was excellent in helping her team win a Platinum Division championship. She hit a game-tying shot at the buzzer to send one game into overtime. She’s a force when she’s attacking downhill and she can finish at multiple angles. She also keeps defenders honest by hitting the 3-pointer. She’s very disruptive on defense with the ability to get deflections out front and take charges underneath.

Maddie Hannis Maddie Hannis 5'9" | SG St. Joseph's | 2025 State MO (Napheesa Collier Elite – Wilkenson): A 5’8″ guard from St. Joseph’s Academy who has good fundamentals to go along with her offensive skill set. She plays just as well off the ball as she does with the ball in her hands. She can attack off the dribble and she can also knock down open 3-pointers. She was also delivering pinpoint passes to open teammates. She also displayed some clutch play as she scored on a game-winning driving layup in the final seconds of a game.

Kiera Burns Kiera Burns 5'9" | SG Vashon | 2025 State MO (Napheesa Collier Elite – McDaniel): A 5’9″ guard from Vashon who has a smooth overall offensive game. She is a very good iso player who can create off the dribble with slicing moves to the basket and mid-range jumpers. She is an unselfish player who will make the right play with her ability to find open teammates. She also plays well without the ball with her movement and cutting. She is also a solid rebounder and defensive player.
******
Laykn Hartley ( Team Blackout 17U): A 5’9″ guard from North Callaway who I first saw at the Higbee Shootout in June and was impressed with her all-around play. She’s an all-purpose player who performs multiple tasks to help her team succeed. She is aggressive on the drive and she also keeps the ball moving well with her passing skills. Her defensive instincts are good as she keeps herself in the right positions.

Kaylee Wilson Kaylee Wilson 5'8" | SG Blue Eye | 2025 State MO ( Yanders Law ): A 5’8″ guard from Blue Eye who shot the ball well from the perimeter in the game that I watched her play. She did a nice job moving without the ball as she could come off curls screens ready to shoot and knock down jumpers. She was shot ready whenever she caught the ball. She also had range that extended past the 3-point line.

Anonda Ford Anonda Ford 5'9" | SF University Academy | 2025 State MO (Earl Watson Academy): A 5’10” wing player from University Academy who was at her best when she was in attack mode. She puts constant pressure on the opposing defense with her driving and slashing ability. She can also go coast to coast on the dribble to get a layup. She is also an effective scorer around the basket. She also does a good job of making extra effort plays with her rebounding and hustling for loose balls.
