We got a chance to watch players from the state who were playing with teams from Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma at the event. There were some excellent perimeter shooters that we watched in Louisville. Here is a look at a small group of 3-point sharpshooters that caught our eye at the Run 4 the Roses.
Korrie Holcer Korrie Holcer 5'6" | CG Meadville | 2024 State MO (Earl Watson Academy 17U): The 5’6” 2024 Class 1 standout from Meadville is a talented scorer who can really light it up from long distance. She has impressive range that extends well past the 3-point line and she can do it off the catch and off the dribble.

Lily Mahy (Oklahoma Shock 17U): The 5’9 2024 guard from Nixa combines her excellent playmaking skills to compliment her elite shooting ability. She hit a total of 16 3-pointers during the event which helped her break the Shock organization’s record for most made triples in a summer. The icing on the cake was her commitment to Northwest Oklahoma State.
******
Madson Queathem (Blackout 17U): The 2024 guard from Montgomery County had one of the most impressive shooting performances that I saw on the first day. She was in fire with six 3-pointers made and she was hitting them from different spots on the court. I was impressed with her teammates as they were looking for her when she had the hot hand.
******
Evie Caruso (TC Hoops 17U): The 6’1 2024 forward from Saxony Lutheran is an ideal Stretch 4 with her ability to make the 3-pointer off the pick and pop. At her height, she was very comfortable on the perimeter with her shooting and ball handling ability.

Willow Gideon Willow Gideon 5'10" | SG Rolla | 2024 State MO ( Lady Brad Beal Elite 17U): The 5’10 2024 guard from Rolla had an impressive week shooting the ball as she helped Lady BBE win a pair of tournament championships. Not only was she consistently knocking down triples, she had a knack for hitting timely shots that would culminate a big rally. I called them “Money Shots.”
******
Peyton Olufson (Napheesa Collier Elite 15U Olufson): The 5’7 2026 guard is an excellent all-around player whose shooting help propel her team to an Elite 40 Platinum championship. Her movement was excellent as she relocates well to get off open shots with her quick release. She also picked up new offers from Illinois State and Lindenwood.
******
Ava Vanecek Ava Vanecek 5'9" | SG Webster Groves | 2026 State MO ( Lady Brad Beal Elite 15U): The 5’9 2026 guard from Webster was a consistent 3-point threat on a team of good shooters. She has a quick release and she moves well to the open spots off the ball.
******
Brooklyn Mitchell ( Yanders Law 16U): The 5’10 2025 shooting guard was impressive shooting the ball in the game I watched. She was shooting it well off the catch and she moved fast to her spots and ran in transition to create open opportunities.

Elena Potsou Elena Potsou 5'6" | CG Parkway West | 2026 State MO (St. Louis Lady Gators 15U): The 5’7 2026 guard from Parkway West in instant offense off the bench with her 3-point shooting. She can enter the game and immediately change things around with a couple of triples.
