Nakisha Nedd
Nedd has added more to her game since I caught her earlier in the season as her rebounding has gotten stronger, and so are her finishes around the basket, putbacks included. I also see improved ball handling as she attacks off the dribble from the wing and did a good job seeing the floor
Madison Mayes
Mayes is long and athletic and her timing is what initially grabbed my attention the first time I saw her as she came from out of nowhere to block shots. She plays the passing lane and handles the ball afterward, she also showed the midrange as well as attacking off the dribble to score
Sierra Portis
Portis is an athletic guard that uses her athleticism well on both ends. She handles the ball under pressure and has solid court vision yet she also scored attacking the basket and finishing after contact. Her defensive pressure, baseline to baseline, helped create turnovers
Sydney Barras
Barras creates her shot under pressure and when she’s on, she’s hard to handle as she can drop the mid to long-range with a hand in her face as well as set the defender up to score off the dribble but watching her transition and show the stop and pop jumper going full speed always impresses me
Trinity Powell
Powell was another athletic guard that brought heat on both ends and watching her not only play the passing lane but use her hands to come away with steals on e defensive end was nice. Her court vision was solid, she also attacked strongly and finished after contact
3T Elite
Keynarjah Robinson
Robinson is long and athletic, I failed to mention that was the base earlier yet her poise under pressure adds more to her impressive game. She scores on putbacks, and yes she rebounds on both ends, as well as off the dribble. She also can drop the mid to long-range with a hand in her face
Sa’Niyah Broomfield
Broomfield has the right last name because she sweeps the ball from the offensive player using her quick and takes off the other way down the field, okay court. She hits teammates on the money in traffic but watching her on the ball defense and playing the passing lane was really nice
Maya Shotwell
Shotwell also has the right last name because she shot it well, remember #ThereIsNoMe, and her ability to drop the banker, hitting the jumper while using the glass, took me back to yesteryear. Her range is good, she hit it from mid to long yet she also shows she could “catch and shoot” it
Emerson Stevens
Stevens used her body well around the basket and her understanding of positioning enabled her to rebound on both ends. She also ran the floor after getting the outlet going, she did a good job defending inside the paint and she also finished after the contact
Showcase
Brooklyn Thomas
Thomas has added more since I last saw her with another team yet she falls into that”long and athletic” group I love to evaluate. Her intangibles are she plays the passing lane well yet she also has good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots. Her defense is solid, and so is her rebounding
Jhonesty Smith
Smith showed “power in the paint” as she used her frame nicely on both ends. Her rebounding defensively stood out as she blocked out well, she also managed to score on putbacks by grabbing the offensive board. I also liked her defense inside the paint
Caroline Polk
Polk also played the passing lane and that’s one of my favorite things to see because all it takes is effort and desire, two things you can’t teach. She handled the ball after the steal to either attack or dish, yet she also did a good job of using a deceptive first step in the set to get to the basket
Onyirye Asomugha
Asomugha is imposing at 6’5 and she is already showing signs of being able to dominate games, on both ends of the court. She has the college read frame to go along with her height, she showed the DROP STEP so let me drop #THRO WBA ‘ last=”]CK as that’s something I don’t see enough of. She rebounded, and she even played the passing lane, so scary upside is an understatement
Ogedi Asomugha
Asomugha also has some very nice upside to go along with her already impressive game. She plays within herself and understands how to get hers in the flow, her defense both in the set as well as baseline to baseline was nice, so was her taking te defender off the dribble and scoring after contact
