I was able to catch many teams in the 16U division full of players from the class of 2025. This list, however, includes the 2026s playing up a division and still making their name known. Here are some names you should know.
Lanie Edwards Lanie Edwards 5’9″ | CG Marvin Ridge | 2026 State NC was pushing the tempo finding her open teammates up the court or taking it all the way herself. When she wasn’t handling the ball, she filled in open lanes being ready for the pass and bucket in transition. She ran full speed knowing how to take her time on fast break layups. Her ability to grab steals was a momentum shifter as she scored off these turnovers on solo fast breaks.
Kate Breault Kate Breault 5’8″ | CG Hough | 2026 NC showed off her stroke from deep on multiple occasions. She slid around the perimeter finding the open spot knocking down her shot. She had some nice passes inside, too, finding her open teammates to score some points at the rim.
Highlights
Abigail Bennah Abigail Bennah 5’6″ | CG Panther Creek | 2026 State NC was attacking the basket and knocking down shots from deep even under a lot of pressure late in a tough game. She handles the ball well protecting the possession on her way to the hoop, and she makes a nice dish to her teammates.
Caroline Kester

Caroline Kester showed off her range shooting the ball from deep even with hands in her face. She was able to drain it off the pass, or she created her own space to put the ball through the hoop. She was a versatile player being able to fill in whatever role her team needed her to do as she can handle business inside the paint and around the perimeter.
