The versatility is probably the most important part of her game. She is strong and able to play inside as an effective rebounder and scorer. She has the ability to be a very good mid-range player and has shown some nice moves in that area. She is tough to stop when she gets going downhill and uses her strength to finish at the rim. She plays aggressive and won’t get bullied much, but might be the bully on defense. She also has good enough ball skills to help out on the perimeter. She can knock down shots and an improved deep ball might put her on the next level of scorers.
Highlights
Elsa played a big role for Seattle Prep last season. She is a guard who makes good decisions and takes care of the ball. She understands help defense and anticipes well leading to steals. Once she gets it, she sees the floor well and can also get up and down with decent speed. If she improves on her shooting, she will be that much better in 2024.
Megan made a lot of improvements in her game over the course of the AAU season playing for Tree of Hope. She has point guard skills as a ball handling guard. She is also a decent shooter from three and with another year’s experience should have a bigger role for Skyline in 2024 as a playmaker and scorer.
Already good on the glass, she made herself more mobile in the off-season. She is aggressive attacking the boards and doesn’t waste time getting the ball back up. She is a shot changer with her size and length. She has good footwork on the block and uses her body well to gain the advantage on rebounds and post-ups.
Lots of potential here with decent length on the perimeter. She is a good enough athlete to make things happen on defense with that length. It also helps her to be an effective finishing guard with either hand around the basket. Another player who made some big strides in the off-season. She has a high ceiling with her physical tools.
