Continue ReadingPhenom is known for having alot of talent in one place in one building and bringing you the most exciting rankings from the kids that participate in the camp. This is the inaugural camp for the girls this year and it was a good one, there were probably 300+ girls at this (3) day camp in Seal Beach, California. We went out and watched some of the games this weekend and were impressed with these kids listed in this report. Hope you enjoy the evaluations….
2025, Susu Zhang (BC)
Susu likes the deep ball and is a threat from that range. She’s not only a shooter but a slasher. She showed good help defense in this camp environment with some brilliance of scoring ability. Good aggression crashing the board and when in position always boxing out the opponent. We loved her intensity on the floor and she was a leader in every since of the word.
2025, McKenzie Gillman (CA)
McKenzie shoots the 3ball from deep with confidence and knocks them down. She’s well rounded perimeter player who competes every possession and is very fun to watch, the reason is that she shoots that three ball and it is a beautiful shot.
2025, Jovalin Victorino Jovalin Victorino 5'8" | CG Milpitas | 2025 State CA (CA)
Jovalin is a good passer who finds teammates for easy buckets. She also has solid handles in traffic and can knock down open shots on the floor and can also shoot with a hand in her face. She did all the things right as we watched her play, you can tell she enjoys playing the game of basketball.
2025, Grace Linder Grace Linder 5'11" | SF West Des Moines Valley | 2025 State IA (IA)
Grace has a knack for always being around the ball. She’s got a nice shooting form, good passer, and nice size for a wing. Best aspect of her game was her leadership on the floor. She kept the team in tune and was very vocal as a leader on the floor. She was a decent defender and we can say she has a decent IQ for the game.
