This summer, tons of girls took strides towards becoming better prospects. Doing the little things, battling it out with some of the best in the country, our girls became more well-rounded and took their game to another level. With each travel ball stop, our girls answered the bell by going toe to toe with some of the best around.
Here, I would like to point out some young ladies whose stock will surely rise as they take the court this upcoming year. These are girls you will definitely need to watch as they continue to make a name for themselves throughout our state.
Lily Melton Lily Melton 5'11" | CG Tullahoma | 2024 TN (6’0/Sr./F/Tullahoma)– A fierce competitor who gets after it on both ends of the floor. Can play inside or out, battles in the paint, unleashes a sweet release from the arc. She is big on the boards, blocks shots, and runs the floor well in transition. I love how she attacks down hill, finishing at the rim through contact. She knows how to utilize her size to exploit mismatches. A great team player who can be utilized in multiple offensive sets. Any time she steps onto the floor, she gives her team an edge.
Bailey Ford (5’8/ Sr./ F/ Beech)– Competitive athlete who works her tail off. She can score it on all three levels. A downhill threat built with counter moves that enable her to finish around the rim. Has great instinctive tendencies, then enables her to disrupt an opponent’s offensive plan. With the ball in her hands, she’s looking to score the rock any way possible. Great team leader who knows how to rally her troops.
Anna Lee Avery Anna Lee Avery 6'0" | SF Houston | 2024 State TN (6’0/ Sr./G/ Houston)– This senior is super talented. Watching her reminds you of a female Klay Thompson. Her ability to come off screens, make shots with a hand in her face, and get to her spots where she is comfortable shooting from is very impressive. She utilizes her size to exploit defenses. She’s tough with the ball in her hands, but is also tough as she creates so much when she is off ball. Coaches have to game plan for this sharpshoot as she will shoot the lights out. Great prospect that collegiate coaches will need to keep their eye on.
Brilee Price Brilee Price 5'7" | SF Peabody | 2026 State TN (5’8/So./F/ Ezell-Harding)– Speed kills. This athletic forward has a motor on her. She’s going to break you down one way or another as she gets to the rim. Has a nice mid-range game, can step back and shoot the 3 ball. Makes her money on the defensive end, as she goes about her business disrupting opponent’s gameplan. Contributes in multiple statistical categories. Great young prospect with a bright future.

(6’1/ So./ C/ PCA)– PCA’s newest addition is a big deal. KM is a beast in the paint on both ends of the floor. She’s an athletic dual sport big that knows how to use her size to her advantage. She’s nice on the boards, anchors the paint, and can finish around the rim with the best of them. She has a nice mid-range game and is money from the elbows and the short corners. She’s great in the pick n’roll and pick n’ pop game. She is a huge asset to the Lady Lions program as they look to get over the hump for state contention this year.

(5’5/Sr./SG/Summit)– Quinn just has such an impressive game. People may feel she is undersized, but she just gets after it. The North Greeneville commit is tough and everytime she steps on the floor, expect a big game from her. Speedy hooper that can shoot the lights out from all three levels. She competes the full length of the floor for 32 minutes. She locks up on D, makes all the extra effort plays, and just goes all out at everything she does. Has a high basketball IQ, where she’s always doing the right things at the right time. A phenomenal teammate who is selfless as they come.
