Harley Namanny Harley Namanny 5'5" | CG Kimball/White Lake | 2024 State SD – Kimball/White Lake – 5’5 – Harley’s role for Kimball has increased each of the last 4 years. She’s blossomed into a scoring threat and the main focus offensively. This past year she averaged 16 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1 steal a game. A statistic that I’d like to see increased for this final year is her shooting percentages. Harley shot 24% from the field and 27% from beyond the arc. Her role and shot production has doubled since sophomore year. If you’re interested in high-volume shooters and watching the ball fly from deep you’re going to want to tune into Harley this season.
Allie Kohn Allie Kohn 5'7" | CG Lemmon | 2024 State SD – Lemmon – 5’9 – Allie is an all-around stat stuffer! Her scoring is down from the sophomore campaign, but statistically, she’s so well-rounded and really came into her basketball IQ this past season. She’s increased her scoring percentages by taking smarter shots and overall contributions to the team snagging 5.1 rebounds, dishing nearly 5 assists a game, and defensively has become a rock with 2.5 steals a contest often guarding the opposing team’s best guard. If you’re interested in a workhorse look no further than Allie to watch this upcoming season.
Nora Dinger Nora Dinger 5'4" | PG Wall | 2024 State SD – Wall – 5’4 – Another fantastic all-around basketball player that can really get the job done in many different facets on the court. Nora has a great sense for the game and her low center of gravity helps her become one elite on-ball defender really getting into opposing guards that struggle with constant pressure. This past year Nora averaged 14.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals a game. If you’re interested in a traditional PG you’re going to want to tune into this one.
Ryan Nilsen – Kimball/ White Lake – 5’9 – Another Kimball guard that doesn’t get enough love. Ryan is a lengthy athletic guard that has really taken a lot of great strides in her game within the past year. She’s proved to be a real offensive threat that crashes hard for rebounds accumulating nearly 3 offensive boards a game. This past year Ryan averaged 13 points, 8 rebounds 2 assists, and nearly 2 steals a game. You would assume with that stat line she might be more of a forward, but you’re in luck as this quick, physical guard can defend at multiple positions which is all the more reason to watch her.
Ashlin Jacobsen Ashlin Jacobsen 5'9" | SG Freeman | 2024 State SD – Freeman – 5’9 – Ashlin is a solid-sized guard that has above-average decision-making skills on the court. This past year Ashlin averaged 12 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals a game. She’s got great length and lateral movement that really plays to her advantage in the passing lanes or reading the defense. If you’re looking for a solid game to watch with nuances to the game definitely tune into Ashlin and Freeman High this coming season.
That’s all for our senior guards to watch next season. Tune in next time to read about the forwards that are going to be a must-watch this coming season.
