What a better time to talk about some of the best players in the league for next season then right now.
Sole’il Casseus Sole’il Casseus 5'9" | SG Westampton Tech | 2024 State NJ – Medford Tech (2024)
You just might be looking at the BCSL’s next Player of the Year in Casseus for next season, just an absolutely talented player with so many intangibles and more on the table. In 29 games as a junior, she averaged 14.2 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 2.1 APG, nearly two steals a game and 40 made three-pointers. Without Jada Jacobs next season, Casseus will be relied upon as the player, the playmaker, Medford Tech’s focal point.
Jani Scott Jani Scott CG Willingboro | 2025 NJ – Willingboro (2025)
Casseus will have some stiff competition within her own division, specifically from the second-place team, Willingboro, and now junior guard Jani Scott Jani Scott CG Willingboro | 2025 NJ . Scott had an impressive sophomore season to say the least, averaging 11.5 PPG in 22 games played. Her playing time increased as did her production, but what we’re really here to see is how much she can sustain that as a junior.
Ava Sztenderowicz Ava Sztenderowicz 5'6" | SG Cinnaminson | 2025 State NJ – Cinnaminson (2025)
Gone is Rhochelle Johnson and Brooke Sztenderowicz, but back this season is Brooke’s younger sister Ava, arguably the centerpiece for Cinnaminson come this season. We only say that because of all returning players, Ava was the leading scorer of the bunch, averaging just over seven points a game with 32 made three-pointers. She’ll be asked to take over the reigns at the top of the key, no doubt.
Mikayla Taylor Mikayla Taylor 5'8" | CG Westampton Tech | 2025 State NJ – Westampton Tech (2025)
Taylor has something to say when it comes to Player of the Year conversations in the BCSL because she had herself quite the sophomore season at Westampton Tech, averaging 15.4 PPG, 6.7 RPG, 1.8 APG, 2.2 SPG and roughly one made three-pointer a game. She led her team in most statistical categories, blossoming and breaking out for a great campaign, and that success will only continue.
Zoey Spady Zoey Spady 5'3" | PG Westampton Tech | 2024 State NJ – Westampton Tech (2024)
From one Westampton Tech player to another, we head to Taylor’s teammate, Zoey Spady Zoey Spady 5'3" | PG Westampton Tech | 2024 State NJ , a great player in her own right with a career year as a junior. Spady averaged more than 13 points a game and dished off just over three assists a game, a really impressive all-around game from the guard who improved herself in a number of different assets, facilitating being one that stands out well.
Molly Frith Molly Frith 5'4" | PG Holy Cross | 2025 State NJ – Holy Cross Prep (2025)
Frith made her first season at Holy Cross Prep count, knocking down 65 three-pointers as she averaged nearly 12 points a game as a sophomore, coupling that with more than two rebounds and assists a game. Her three-point shooting is what stands out amongst the rest, and truly, she’s one of the best in the region from the perimeter, no doubt.
