Molliesa McDaniel-5’4 CG
McDaniel was heady, understood how to get hers “in the flow” and also “played within herself” yet she gave her squad another scoring option as she did a good job of not only creating her shot under pressure but knocking it down while being defended. Her deceptive first step was nice as it helped her get by defenders to attack the basket and score, plus her court vision off the dribble as well as in the set was solid
Kayla King Kayla King 5'10" | CG Judson | 2025 State TX -5’9 SG (2025)
King shall be Queen is one of the first lines I dropped as I recall years ago I remember her flying into town from vacation to join her then club team and drop something else, a 3 to win the game which was already going on, so things like that, I don’t need a search bar for. She elevates to drop the jumper as well as score around the basket but watching her set the defender up with the slight HEZ, hesitation, to attack the basket, and finish using nice body control always has me smiling, so does her mid to long-range jumper
Dejah Dudley-5’7 CG (2025)
Dudley can Do Right or left and you’ll probably have to Google that “play on words” yet she simply goes hard to the basket using either hand and finishes after contact, with either hand. Her “on the ball” defense helps create offense for her teams because she has quick hands and comes away with steals and her seeing the floor afterward gives her teammates some easy looks. Okay, her midrange pull-up was clicking but she can also drop the long ball
Korina Garcia-5’5 SG (2025)
Garcia showed she could also knock down shots when needed and her decision-making as well as defense stood out but watching her not handle the ball under pressure but see the floor adds more depth to this talented squad
Delaney Arredondo Delaney Arredondo 5'6" | PG Judson | 2026 State TX -5’4 PG (2026)
Arredondo is one of the top PG’s in the state, all classes included and that says a lot since she’s only a sophomore. She has had the IT factor for a very long time and was called a #D1Lock before her first middle school game but she understands how to run a team and when you can control the tempo, especially during crunch time, that’s huge in itself but watching her thread the needle and hit teammates in traffic from beyond 20 feet is also HUGE. She scores off the dribble, after contact, using nice body control, and can drop the mid to long-range jumper. Her “on the ball” defense is also solid
Cora Bennett Cora Bennett 6'1" | C Judson | 2026 State TX -6’1 C (2026)
Bennett showed signs years ago of becoming a dominant force in the interior and now those signs are surrounded by blinking lights as her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots has taken off even more. Speaking of taking off, she goes after everything off the rim yet I was impressed with seeing her handle the ball up the floor after rebounding. She scores around the basket, after the lick, putbacks included and she also did a good job of scoring off the dribble from the wing as well as facing the basket. Her interior defense was also sold, she even stepped outside the paint and showed good lateral movement to apply pressure
