The program has been solid over the years, playing teams closely night in and night out. With a few bad breaks, the outcomes could have been in the Lady Admirals favor more often than not. This summer, the girls got back after it, learning and adding to their development along the way.
Playing in the Williamson County District (District No. 10) will be tough once again, but I believe through the hard work the young ladies put in this summer, things will be much different this time around. Yes, they graduated some key contributors, but they also gained some additions that will be helping them over time. This team will be solid once again and give their best effort the full 32 minutes. As fall workouts get going and the season inches closer, look for some girls to rise to the top that will help bring the maroon and white back to their glory days.
Here are a few girls to keep an eye out for this upcoming season.

(5’5/Sr./Pg)– Such a solid playmaker, Amy is a great floor general. She can score the ball from all three levels, but feeding her teammates is what she does best. She plays the game fast, utilizing her speed to her advantage along the way. Offensively, she sees the floor well, creating and attacking gaps for scoring opportunities for herself or teammates. Defensively, she is active, stepping up and disrupting her opponent’s timing of plays. Look for her to have a big senior season. She’s a solid guard who will be a great addition on a collegiate roster.

(6’2/So./C)– Well, you can’t teach size. Though you can teach size to compete. Cecilie is a force in the paint and uses her size to create mismatches. She’s on the glass on both ends of the floor. She’s a beast around the painted area, finding the bottom of the net time and time again. Double-Double. You bet. Her ability to score and grab boards is a big reason why the Lady Admirals contend. As she continues to grow and add moves to her tool belt, look for this young lady to seize the moment and become something the Lady Admirals haven’t had in a long time. Defense, she’s a shot blocker. Offensively, she’s a scoring threat. Both of those mixed together equals a difference maker.
