She was phenomenal as a freshman averaging 13.2ppg for her debut season, but was injured last year and did not play for her team. We have been told she has transferred to Etiwanda and my goodness, this makes them even more loaded and ready to contend for another Open Division Championship and State Title. She will be cast with Kennedy Smith Kennedy Smith 6'0" | PF Etiwanda | 2024 State CA , Mykells Richards and Aliyahna Morris Aliyahna Morris 5'5" | PG Etiwanda | 2025 State CA , now that is a Fantastic Four for you there.
2025, 5’8, CG, Milpitas HS, Jovalin Victorino Jovalin Victorino 5'8" | CG Milpitas | 2025 State CA
Jovalin is a good passer who finds teammates for easy buckets. She also has solid handles in traffic and can knock down open shots on the floor and can also shoot with a hand in her face. She did all the things right as we watched her play, you can tell she enjoys playing the game of basketball.
2025, 6’0, SF/C, Liberty HS, Ava Ford Ava Ford 6'0" | SF Liberty | 2025 State CA
Ava is a big post player who uses her size well. She has good footwork with back to the basket. Didn’t see any forced shots during game play. She plays taller on defense contesting shots. Her mobility up and down the floor was good, played at her pace and played team ball.
2025, 6’1, PF/C, San Clemente HS, Jamie Morgan Jamie Morgan 6'1" | PF San Clemente | 2025 State CA
Jamie is productive in the paint on both ends of the floor. Offensively she finishes strong around the basket and is aggressive on the boards. She really knew how to use her body size and make things happen on the floor. She ran the floor well and was able to catch and finish at the rim thru contact. Loved her soft hands in the paint, she was a menace for most.
2025, 5’7, PG, Half Moon Bay HS (CA), Delaney Dorwin Delaney Dorwin 5'7" | PG Half Moon Bay | 2025 State CA – good size guard type, handles pressure well when being trapped and is a heady guard that is able to get to the rim and draw fouls as well as the harm. Shoot the ball well from midrange and is a threat to make three pointers as well.
2025, 6’2, SG, Los Gatos HS (CA), Ashley Childers Ashley Childers 6'2" | SF Los Gatos | 2025 State CA – nice long body type post player that has some footwork in the paint and knows how to get rebounds as well on the floor. Old school game on this kid, love the way she uses the glass to make shots easy. We watched as she got to spots she wanted to get to, then used the glass to make the difficult shot look very easy, loved her game.
2025, 5’7, PG, Palo Alto HS (CA), Natalie Neumann Natalie Neumann 5'7" | PG Woodside Priory | 2025 State CA – small guard that played really hard and can score the ball in transition and off the catch. She is very aggressive on the floor and keeps her team engaged and tuned. She had a decent handle and was one the most crafty guards I saw that day, she is still developing, but she is coming along so nicely.
2025, 5’4, PG, Harker HS (CA), Isabella Lo Isabella Lo 5'4" | PG Harker | 2025 State CA – guard with a nice stroke from three point line, gets back on defense and locks up, but is under sized for bigger guards. Traps and chases the ball with a lot of purpose and gets some good looks at scores or make the correct pass to help teammates score. She did all the right things on the floor, we enjoyed watching her play.
2025, 5’6, PG, Valley View HS (CA), Mason Long Mason Long 5'6" | PG Valley View | 2025 State CA – another guard with a nice size and body type, she is crafty and heady in the floor, we love how she makes the right decision at each and every moment. She did everything a lead guard is suppose to do for their team, she was the floor general and everyone did not doubt it.
2025, 6’1, SF, Head Royce School (CA), Morgan Ross Morgan Ross 6'1" | SF Head Royce School | 2025 State CA – solid post presence for this team, she is a solid rebounder, has some footwork in the paint, but can really rebound the ball on both sides of the floor. She can run the floor and catch and finish in transition, can get to the block seal and make the defense pay with a decent skill set at the low post position.
2025, 5-11, SF, James Logan (CA), Kiana Tuigamala Kiana Tuigamala 5'11" | SF James Logan | 2025 State CA – monster in the boards, she is physical and can make things happen in the paint. Plays with confidence and is drawing a double team in the paint. Had five rebound in the first couple of minutes in the game.
2025, 5’4, CG, Pacifica (Oxnard) HS, Mimi Moon Mimi Moon 5'4" | CG Pacifica | 2025 State CA – moon is very capable of being a lead guard and has seen her recruitment pick up this summer. She’s an unselfish playmaker; sees the floor in transition especially well and keeps her head up on the break. She pushes the ball well and looks to get to the basket. Good body control to finish around bigger defenders. Consistent shooter from three-point range with quick release and good shooting mechanics.
2025, 6’2, C, Milpitas HS (CA), Nohe’Alani Stores Nohe’Alani Stores 6'2" | C Milpitas | 2025 State CA – solid post presence for her team, rebounder supreme, has soft hands in the paint and is a decent defender and skilled shot blocker. Makes free throws when fouled, you cannot foul her in the late minutes of the game.
2025, 5’10, SF, Camarillo HS, Christa Contreras Christa Contreras 5'10" | SF Camarillo | 2025 State CA – Contreras is a developing center who makes an impact in the game without scoring. In the game I saw, she impacted the game defensively with her ability to contest shots in the paint and be an anchor as well as having the mobility and foot speed to cover a ball-handler on the perimeter. She moves well and slides her feet. She’s a strong rebounder too who uses her length to grab boards. Runs the floor well in transition.
2025, 5’6, SG, Xavier Prep HS, Rosalee Gutierrez Rosalee Gutierrez 5'6" | SG Xavier Prep | 2025 State CA – Gutierrez stood out to me for her shooting ability. In the game I saw, she was able to shoot off the catch from three-point range and she was also able to shoot the pull-up from three-point range. Overall a consistent shooter from distance. She’s more comfortable taking the three off the catch but she was also able to put the ball on the floor and get closer to the basket.
2025, 5’6, CG, Beaumont HS, Amirah Jones Amirah Jones 5'6" | CG Beaumont | 2025 State CA – Jones is a tough, strong player inside. Gets good position down low and can hold it with her strength. She can draw contact around the basket and get to the free-throw line. She can play at the elbows and and either pull-up and shoot the little jumper or she can get to the basket and finish. Good offensive rebounder. Off the ball she makes solid cuts to the rim and has good hands ready for the pass.
2025, 5’5, SG, Brentwood School HS, Payton Sugar Payton Sugar 5'5" | SG Brentwood | 2025 State CA – She shot 40% from the three point stripe this season, that is pretty impressive with (81-204) shots made. This kid is far from shy when it comes to taking three point shots, she put up 204 attempts in a season, meaning she makes at least 3 three pointers in each and every game. She uses her skill set to get her feet set and is always ready to shoot the ball on the pullup or off the catch.
2025, 5’6, SG, Village Christian HS, Madison Mulligan Madison Mulligan 5'6" | PG Village Christian | 2025 State CA – She shot 39% from the three point stripe this season on (51-132) attempts and she is worthy of being classified as a good three point shooter in high school. Madison has good size as well as a shooting guard, she is equally capable at the defensive end of the floor, but what drew us to her was her ability to make the three pointer in the game flow. This kid can shoot the ball and she will only get better as the years go by.
2025, 5’4, SG, Esperanza HS, Janelle Miyatake Janelle Miyatake 5'4" | SG Esperanza | 2025 State CA – She shot 40% from the field on (21-52) attempts from the three point line, she can also score the ball from all three levels, but this team she plays for will beat you with the three pointer shooters. She is just one of the many threats on this Esperanza team that can shoot the ball from all three levels and make the game messy and force the tempo to their advantage. This kid can score with some of the best of them.
2025, 5’3, SG, Village Christian HS, Delilah Caudillo Delilah Caudillo 5'3" | PG Village Christian | 2025 State CA – She shot an impressive 47% which is the highest percentage in her class this season for California Southern Section. She shot (20-43) from the three stripe and made teams pay when they left her open for the shot. She plays bigger than her size and made sure she was a threat on the floor in each and every game she played in. Her performance was always up to par and that is why we recognized her for her shooting abilities.
2025, 5’7, CG, Corona Centennial HS, Journey Wilson Journey Wilson 5'7" | CG Corona Centennial | 2025 State CA – Wilson is comfortable in primary ball-handling role. She can create her own offense or can facilitate and get teammates open looks off drive and kick opportunities. Good midrange shot and can hit the pull-up jumper. Able to attack consistently off the dribble. She can finish in the lane with a little floater. Solid on ball defender.
2025, 5’9, CG, Palisades HS, Alyssa Ramirez Alyssa Ramirez 5'9" | CG Palisades | 2025 State CA – Ramirez stood out for her catch and shoot ability from three-point range. She’s a spot up shooter and takes advantage of open looks. Defenses are aware of her shooting ability and she can attack closeouts and put the ball on the floor. Uses shot fakes to get in closer to the basket. She can finish around traffic. Able to handle the ball in the halfcourt. Decent rebounder for her size.
