Evergreen – 15-7 (7-1) 1st in 3A GSHL
Coming off the first league championship in 43 years, Evergreen has the pieces to be one of the favorites again in 2024. Led by 1st team all league selections Adrian Wright Adrian Wright 5'7" | SG Evergreen | 2025 WA (2025) and and Kimora Ross Kimora Ross 5'7" | SG Evergreen Vancouver | 2026 State WA (2026). They also return Aiyanah Sefrenio-Byrd (2025), giving them their top three players back for at least the next two years. They had three freshman and four sophomores on the roster last season, so another 43 year drought is highly unlikely for a team that went from worst to first last season.
Top returning players
Kimora is back for her sophomore season after making quite the impression last year as a freshman. The 1st teamer is a tough guard who makes things happen with her ability to create and score from anywhere on the floor. The mid-range game is on point and she has a sweet looking jumper from three. With one year of varsity experience and one league title, she should be as confident as ever to open the 2023-24 season and one of the best in the league.
Highlights
Adrian was a transfer from Union after her freshman season and saw plenty of success in her first year at Evergreen. She is a high energy player who plays with some fire and it starts with the defense. She is active and athletic which leads to lots of steals with her anticipation and quickness. She is a good shooter from three as well as a confident floor game as a guard who can play the point or two.

Aiyanah Sefronio-Byrd
Aiyannah was a 2nd team all league pick last season. She is another tough player who fits in with Wright and Ross in what will likely be a team that pressures the ball and gets up and down the floor next season. She is a guard who can contribute in lots of aspects of the game, filling the stat sheet. Another who might play her way into the 2025 rankings.
