As a Freshmen these young players may have caught some teams by surprise, but now teams have seen these Freshmen players in action more than once. As a matter of fact, coaches can also follow and scout a lot of these players on social media, You Tube, Hudl, Baller TV, etc. Coaches can also find a lot of the 2026 talent at the Top 250 Expo in Longwood this weekend. In this article, we preview some of the 2026 Forwards who will participate in the Top 250 Expo. These players are looking to show their development since last season. Many are looking to show that their successful Freshman season was no accident. These young forwards are poised to disprove the myth of the Sophomore Jinx and prove they are ready for this upcoming season. First thing is first. They are looking to shine at this years 250 Expo.
Maleeya Brammer Maleeya Brammer 6'1" | PF Gulf Breeze | 2026 State FL . The 250 Expo is a great place for Brammer top showcase her skills and passion for the game of basketball. Brammer is a versatile player who can play on the inside and out. She can shoot the outside shot and is versatile and strong enough to mix it up in the paint. Brammer has a relentless pursuit of the basketball and she doesn’t mind diving on the floor or fighting for the basketball. She has the same pursuit on the offensive glass and gets a lot of second shots for her teammates. Brammer’s motto is “Eat, Sleep, Play Basketball.” With her passion for the game, she will be a player to watch at the 250 Expo, and the sophomore forward will be one to watch this upcoming high school season season as she continues to protect and mix it up in the paint.
Mia Chandler Mia Chandler 6'0" | PF Mandarin | 2026 State FL is one of the most intriguing and exciting young players who is registered to play at the the 250 Expo. Chandler has the size of a big, but can run the floor like a guard. She has a great motor and is a force on the boards, especially on the offensive side. Chandler has a relentless pursuit of the ball on gets a lot of offensive rebounds and putbacks. She is very good in the transition game and fills the lanes well and scores on the fast break. Chandler can also lead the break herself and can take it all the way with her speed and ball handling abilities. The young Sophomore will have an increased role this year in the middle of Mandarin’s offense and defense. Chandler has been working on her game and we will be eager to see her development at the Top 250 Expo.
Liliana Rosario Liliana Rosario 6'0" | PF Westminster Academy | 2026 State FL will be in the building and for those who will be playing in the paint, Rosario is a name you should pay attention to. Rosario loves to do her thing in the middle. She is going to put her body on any big on the paint and will be sealing of defenders in the post. Rosario utilizes good footwork on the inside and can score the ball. She is also a very good passer and finds the open outside shooters and cutters to the basket. Defensively, Rosario is relentless at challenging and blocking shots. Sher is a “force” to keep an eye on during the 250 Expo.
Skye Thompson Skye Thompson 5'10" | PF New River | 2026 State FL will be in the building and I’m looking forward to seeing her play against other bigs at the 250 Expo. Thompson has shown that she can also handle the ball, lead the break, and also pass the ball to the open cutter. We are looking forward to seeing the young “Big” compete and show her interior skills at this year’s showcase.
Sophia Landen Sophia Landen 5'8" | SG Clearwater Central Catholic | 2026 FL will be in the building this upcoming weeeknd at the Top 250 Expo. Landen is a versatile forward who can shoot the outside three, but also can get into the paint and score on the inside. Landen does a good job of filling the lanes on the fast break and finishing at the rim. Defensively, Landen can defend on the inside, and can also defend small forwards on the outside. She is not afraid to stick her nose in there and fight for the ball. Landen will be a forward to watch at the upcoming Expo.
